Dovin - 5 - Two shots on target, two goals conceded
MVE - 7 - Good. Worked harder than anyone else.
Thomas - 5 - Bullied, tried to shoulderbarge Adams at one point and went flying himself
Kitching - 4 - Bullied and somehow losing aerial duels to wingers
Bidwell - 2 - Should arguably have been sent off. Tragic.
Grimes - 5 - Sloppy. Slowed us down at times when chasing.
Torp - 5 - Outworked, zero end product.
Eccles 5 - Outworked, zero end product.
Saka - 6 - Looked like the only player who could create a chance.
Wright - 3 - Pony. Couldn't trap a bag of cement.
Simms - 5 - Pocketed by Matt fucking Clarke.

If bidwell ever does anything in a skyblue shirt again other than make the tea, Id be happy. Gave away the needless stupid foul for their first, him and wright a constant liability down our left, and boy didn't Derby know and exploit it. Wrights body language all wrong coming out second half, blowing into his hands because he was cold, bless him, rather than rolling his sleaves up and saying "we're going to get something from this". So pissed off with that and the only thing good I can say is at least Frank knows we need a decent left back next season, if he didn't already and wright cant compete as a center forward as he just doesn't have the strength, presents nor inclination. Possibly one of the worst headerers of a football Ive ever seen. The higher he jumps the further his head disappears into his and body.

Maybe we can sell more tickets by closing down our left hand side...

Would say the same, but feel it’s harsh on Grimes. Always looks likely to create something to me and dictates play. 6/10

That's the worst I've seen Bidwell play, usually reliable but a liability tonight.

He said the first one, which is true. It should have been saved. Dovin was poor tonight, along with most of them.

If Collins had have let that first one in, people (and by people, I mean me) would have been griping about it hard.

Dovin at fault for Stoke's equaliser on Saturday.
Should have been his ball from the moment it left the Stoke players foot.

I thought he was poor tonight, easily his worst game for us, but not helped by those in front of him.

No clear MOTM, but we have a real issue at left back all of a sudden.

I’ve seen him get beaten in the air and in behind too often this season. Call it PTSD

Bidwell has been poor last few games he’s played post his new contract, Haji not fit but trying to sneak a game in and rest EMC.
Cried out for Allen and movement in midfield

But he's played well in his last few appearances, looks more confident on the ball and links well with EMC .
No need to panic or damn players based on past poor performances, just play players in form

I don't think Allen would've made a jot of difference tonight , both Torp and Eccles moved around a lot and showed up but the ball just didn't stick up top at any point tonight for any of the strikers

Simms was poor tonight, but Wright, BTA or Bassette up top all make us worse. Simms at a minimum plays the 9 role better than the others

Wright is way off it.

Bidwell has always been limited but at least reliable, he seems to be visibly regressing this season which I never thought I’d see.

Pretty much agree with that.
Birdwell shocking.

We were never going to win every game but a pretty disappointing performance.

Still in a Derby MacDonalds. At least that's OK.

If the players in front of him underperform he has little impact on a game .
His performance tonight reminded me of a lot of MacAllisters early games for us , he was looking for something ahead of him but there was little there .
If I was to be hyper critical of him he did drop too deep and it allowed Derby to press a lot higher

absolutely donkey shit from Haji Wright, his worst performance in a cov shirt.

even worse was lampards inexplicable decision to keep him on and move him to CF when he’s never showed a glimpse of being good there, never mind the fact he was blowing out his arse after 40 minutes

genuinely thought he’d take him off the EMC at half time

That was a very hard watch tonight!
Bidwell poor, Wright way off it and his positioning & energy when we didn't have the ball was embarrassing at times.
Saka & MVE our better players this evening down the right.
Impressed again with JDS
Grimes came far too deep which left too much space for Eccles and Torp to cover and get up to support a lonely Simms.
Lampard.....poor subs choices. Why no Allen, and Simms off for a shattered Wright (he was only ever going to have enough gas for 60mins)
Run has to come to an end, pick ourselves up and mind onto Saturday now....need to be much better than the last few games to beat Sunderland.

Too many off it tonight, hard to say why, hopefully a one off. Sometimes you think if we can just get 1, but never felt like the 1 was coming. I thought Dovin should've done better with the first, Bidwell bad all round possibly 2nd yellow too, defending the set pieces at CB bad, Eccles, Simms and Wright shocking, Simms should've scored the one on one in the first half, Tats did ok but his crossing rarely beat the first man, same for Milan, Torp and Grimes often too deep and not brave enough on the ball. Ref was poor, not enough injury time either although possibly a blessing, their 2nd goal looked like it was out of play first, but nobody appealed so possibly me. I thought Derby fans made decent noise for home fans.

Dont think ive ever seen a more abject non performance from a striker. We would have have been better playing with 10 men. It was really that bad he gos from looking high end championship level to non league level.

Bit harsh on Simms saying he should of scored. The ball bounced up a lot higher than he was expecting off the ploughed field and he got his shot on target. Decent save from the keeper. It's not like he ballooned it over the bar. Very little service to him or Wright tonight.

I thought Simms did ok yesterday. He was very isolated but ran the channels and held the ball up. Had no support at all so even when he went past Clarke (quite few times) he had zero options.
Like others have said, I couldn’t understand him coming off and Wright staying on.

That’s fair mate, he wasn’t really a problem as such, just felt having a midfielder that deep at times was almost a little bit of a waste. He’s been consistently good in all his other games so far so I get it.
