Would leave them 17 points behind us, with Forest breathing down our necks at just 14 points behind us. Squeaky bum time.

It's a carve up that stinks all over Wycombe.
This should have resolved last year.

Fishy as feck that they have 'negotiated' a deduction with the EFL after they have done better than expected at the start of the season.

Exactly. EFL have absolutely done Wycombe rotten in this.

I assume it’s to draw a line under it, this would drag on further if the EFL issued a punishment because Derby would appeal.

I assume this is a case of getting a punishment, Derby won’t appeal and everything can move on. It’s still worse than Sheff Wed’s punishment

- I was thinking of 200 hours community service.

- 25 years?

- Suspended 2 year sentence?

The thing is, If they were on 1 or 2 points so far they wouldn't take the 9 point deduction. Its only been agreed/accepted by them as they still have a decent chance of getting out of the relegation zone.
The whole thing stinks.

One of the newspapers this morning reporting its potentially a 12 point deduction. As far as the Championship goes, it all depends if the agreement is for this season or next though.

It's the logical route out for them .
As long as the owner can hack it, assuming it isn't in the style of our administration.
They really should have done it last year though ,fuck them and the EFL.
Where's Wycombe now.

Being reported by the bbc now

Derby County: Championship club file notice to appoint administrators

Derby County will go into administration amid continued financial problems and face a 12-point deduction.
www.bbc.co.uk

They are just taking the hit and relegation this year then. Big chance for one of the promoted teams and a big kick in the bollocks to Wycombe.

Did they sell their stadium too? Is that likely to be an issue here?

Anything less than 12 points is a disgrace. If these negotiations they’ve been in is so that they only get 9 points. It completely shits on every other team that’s been docked points.

That was just for accounting stuff. They'll be deducted 12 points for admin no doubt.

I'm just not sure if that rules out the 9 points or they're combined for 21 points.
