We should beat these but they have a front pair of Yates and Harness, players who always seem to score against us like Piroe and Gallagher. I would take a draw here, if we can beat Sunderland on Saturday.

First time to Pride Park. Any tips for parking? Ideally as close to A52 as possible.

Fuck you’d hope we can beat them with this many players out.

Derby could be missing 10 players for Frank Lampard's return with Coventry City

Opposition injury news as CoventryLive take a look at a stretched Derby County squad ahead of Tuesday's game at Pride Park
www.coventrytelegraph.net

Big occasion for Frank too, I’m sure he will be fired up for this one returning to Derby

I just don't get it.

Derby would be delighted with a point. In the last 10 games form table we're clear top by 3 points. Derby are 24th. Their injury problems make ours look like nothing. Yet some seem to think we will be lucky to get a point

Because that's football for you.

Would anyone have predicted Leeds to lose at Portsmouth on Sunday? Leeds were on a 17 game unbeaten run.

Anyone can beat anyone, on the day.

We will slip up at some point for sure, because that's how the game of football works. That's the charm of it. You just know that if you are a small club for instance, you CAN beat one of the top clubs. Look at Plymouth v Liverpool in the cup, they won that game, much to everyone's surprise.

Since that Liverpool game though, where Plymouth played very, very well, that have just one win in 7 and are now 6 points adrift at the bottom.

I think fans are rightly worried, that if MVE was to be missing tonight, that will leave us vulnerable down that right flank.

We also haven't played that well in the last two games, despite pulling out victories.

We should win tonight for sure, but there's no guarantees in this game.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if this ended in a draw and I don't think anyone has said we would be lucky to get a point, have they? Just that they wouldn't be surprised if we only got a draw out of it.

Full strength squad and us on our game, then sure, yes, we should win and I would be confident too, but we do always leak in goals and make a number of mistakes at the back. If MVE is missing and it's Lati in, I would expect those mistakes to increase,. unfortunately.

We can't just assume we will continue on this run. The likelihood is that we are going to slip up at some point and following the Sky Blues, you just know we always have it in us to lose games we should definitely be winning.

Be fabulous if we pull out another victory tonight.

I must admit I’m not over confident about winning this. When you’re fighting for survival and need points to stay up anything can happen. We’ve been there loads of times in the past. Our good run has to be broken at some point, so a draw looks nailed on . 4-1 away win

It would be a great statement of our squad depth , to see changes for this game .
The players all know their roles if called upon & their will to win & not let there team mates down, will show through .
An easier win than anticipated , with Hadji back on the left & him & Simms scoring !
0 - 2 to the super skyblues

It won't be an easy game but out of the 3 (Oxford, Stoke & Derby), I was always most confident for this game.

Derby are dog shit, the win over Blackburn is not an uptick in form. The two goals came early when Blackburn hadn't switched on and both were from shocking defending. Add to the fact, Eustace was playing his old team and would have had an upper hand. It was a one off. Speaking to Derby fans and they say that he has made, little or no difference since joining.

It'll be a tight game and not pretty but I think we'll edge it by a single goal.

On paper a great chance to put some distance between us and 6/7th. But this league dont work like that and every chance we lose and Bristol beat Sheff Utd.

Wonder if we might use the squad a bit with this one. Get the likes of Wright and Sheaf more time and give people the full week to recover if they’re carrying a niggle. Maybe even go back to a three at the back if MvE isn’t fit with Eccles wide right (we won’t it’ll be Lats but Eccles is the better option IMO)

Most of our remaining games are against sides with something to play at the bottom and top. In a way I prefer that because it means we can't be complacent and have to be at our best

Game day. Been so excited for this since Saturday. It's a great opportunity to get another 3 points.

Nothing to be afraid of here. A lot of people saying a draw is ok, but let's be realistic. If you were on the outside looking at the league table, there's only one team that looks to be capable of blowing the other one away.

Let's fucking go at them and take no prisoners. Hopefully we can get the job done and be one win closer to cementing that playoff place.

I think it will be 1-1, for no better reason than the fact it would be insane for us to win 11 out of 12.

I really want us to win this though, with a run of three really tough games coming up although I fancy us to get four points from those.

I don't assume or expect a win. I would question anyone who ever expects a win especially away. It's this happy with a point thing. Win tonight and we will pull away from the sides below us unless Sheffield United and Burnley lose. Just what we need with our next 3 games. It would take the pressure off.

Result here will depend on the extent of the injury list making for selection choices - Rudoni , MVE and EMC possibly out - Wright Sheaf not fully match fit

To be fair, Derby have a much worse injury list than we do. Think Yates is there only fit striker, and they've had a few ruled out for the rest of the season. Think Derby would snatch your hands off for a draw tonight.

People do realise when a fan says what they'd be happy with, it has no baring on what happens at all right? It's not the manager saying it
I wouldn't be 'happy' with a draw here, I think we're capable of winning it, but i don't think any away game is easy and generally speaking i don't turn my nose up at any point gained on the road.
In the context of where we are and with the games coming up, obviously 3 points would be huge, lets do it!

Jack didn’t look in any discomfort hugging the players and all that after Stoke. So he’ll be back after the international break for sure.

Surely if MVE was serious he wouldn't of been doing his war charge with Sakamoto at the end. The physios would of had him wrapped up

Working on the assumption that MVE and EMC need a break at the very least.

Is harsh as pushes Sakamoto out but don’t think he could play any of the positions in the formation and feel without Milan I’m not overly comfortable with a fullback.

Eccles did well here before so feel he could play this one before we switch back to a 4-3-3 as others have said.

If wright/ sheaf not fit to start would play BTA and Allen

It's not "happy" with a point. But you would take a point over a defeat wouldn't you and it's a game we could well slip up in.

If we were to go on and lose, I bet tomorrow you will be saying you would have been "happy" with a point.

Some fans don't look at the big picture. Expected us to smash hull with their new manager and then even criticised that we won but not dominated . Hull have gone on to do quite well with new manager

Derby got a big win under eustace. He's done well at Brum and Blackburn before. He could get a tune out of derby too. Draw won't be end of world

They have 10 players out and massive injury problems. We should be winning in all honesty and it would be a disappointment if we dont

I understand that and somewhat agree but when you have won 9/10 I think no matter who you play the odds get tougher to keep a winning run going on and on. Staying unbeaten would still give me lots of positives

Tough game for Brizzle and Albion tonight away at Bramall Lane and Turf Moor respectively!

Blackburn away at Stoke tomorrow and a win at home to QPR could bring Middlesbrough back into play

A big chance for us tonight ahead of three tough games

The meltdown on here when we do eventually lose with be tragic and over the top
For me I’m trying to temper my excitement of where we find ourselves and the potential for a really positive end to the season
The danger is you don’t get to enjoy what’s happening and we should enjoy it!
All the podcasts for the city were so downbeat and negative about everything other than the result on Saturday and I get it we’re used to being shit
There are no teams that have won 6 extra points scoring added time goals in the last 5-6 games
Simms at sheff wed
Bobby b qpr and now Stoke
Instead of focusing on the drive and commitment people wanna focus on not winning by more or letting a goal in
Understandable but come on guys let’s be excited and when we eventually do lose let’s not go full on I’ve been proved right I knew dovin or JDs or Simms or mve or Lati or whoever would cost us
