@skybluecam @procdoc Top class defending from Kitching letting Clarke easily get goal side and Dovin watching a bouncing ball in his own area. I thought you both knew so much about football?

I think we need to go back to a back 5 next few games, our defence is just not good enough. We really do miss Rudoni's creativity, we also need a fit Sheaf, Eccles just doesn't do it for me.

That was genuinely one of the worst performances I've ever seen from a professional footballer.

I suppose if you're going to have a bad one, you might as well make it memorably awful.

We'll be well up for it on Sat.. not that bothered about tonight.. we've set the bar very high. A good result to arrest any complacency. Derby played well. PUSB

Will say Rudoni was a huge loss today, with his chance creation numbers.

Not one big chance tonight against a bottom three side. Hopefully he’s back after Sunderland

I'd play him against Sunderland and just tell him not to swing his arm when running.

I just hope this is not the start of a losing run. QPR were rolling and then their car has now gone in reverse. Hope we nip things in the bud.

Problem is that when you have just recruited someone who is used as the player pretty much everything goes through ( Grimes) you are always going to be a bit up shit creek if they have a bit of an off day. He did today.

Wright isn’t physical enough to play through the middle and be a target man who holds up play. Neither is Bassette.

It's every week. I swear they are getting us ready for VAR so we don't kick up as much of a stink about it.

There have been a number of goals we have conceded that I think VAR would have overturned if applied.

I’m not too arsed about tonight but we need a reaction on Saturday. And probably need 3-4 points from our next 3 now.

Disappointed in Bidwell though, he looked all over the place in a game we needed his experience and consistency.

Derby are fucking shite, they are so poor.
I knew this day was going to be rough when I woke up. When ‘Constitution Hill’ fell for the first time ever at Cheltenham and fucked up my treble I guessed this was a day to forget.
City are a better side than the sheep shaggers but Bidwell and Wright were dreadful, Simms outfought and the officials blind as fucking bats !

Not going to get too irritated by that, it was poor yes but we've been on an incredible run which is unsustainable in reality . Always shit to drive home after a loss though

I don’t think we can blame every bad performance on injury or rustiness haha. He was simply pure poo pop tonight.

We won't perform like that again. It's out of the system now. Sunderland next and they have not been convincing of late.
Wrights had some minutes, EMC looks fit again. Think we will be fine. Bidwell was terrible, just not on it at all tonight. Many were just not dealing with Derby's scrappy tactics. Look forward to Sunderland. ATM Bristol look a real threat, Norwich possibly now out of it. Boro' somehow still there. It's going to be fun.

Will def’ be buying a couple of left sided players and a back up for MVE.. Eccles and Allen not good enough for a top six side either.

Can Frank stop taking Simms off and leaving Wright on. Wright was dreadful, appreciate he has been out injured, but taking Simms off makes even less sense.

Can he though? Gets exposed constantly at the moment

amount of times it’s just crying out for a touch and a crisp pass but he’ll just play some lofty shit pass as that’s all he’s got

Treat this as the Stoke game in the 2023 play off season, or the Yeovil game in the 2018 play off season

Really concerned about LB now. Don’t think either look capable defensively in a 4.

Although the system we’re playing asks a lot of our defenders to win 1-on-1 battles, which they aren’t.

Think we need to make games more of a dogfight, like we did at the start of this run. We’re not a team who look comfortable dominating the play, and the last few games we’ve just ended up leaving huge gaps for the opposition to exploit.

I think John Eustace is going to keep Derby up based on this performance. Despite carrying several injuries they’re finding a way to win ugly. We just were not at the races today and looked very lacklustre. Need to get something (ideally 3 points) versus Sunderland.

We do tend to have one of these moments every season. Remember that Lincoln game aswell where they beat us 4-2 at the CBS, right bizarre game where that Rhead caused us havoc
