Playing Asante out wide and Wright down the middle isn’t a combination I particularly want to see return. In general I do think we make games harder for ourselves than they need to be mostly from giving the ball away in unfortunate parts of the pitch.

MVE can’t be that as he was able to carry on for a bit and was jumping around at the end. However, I expect he’ll be rested Tuesday, hopefully with Eccles taking his place rather than Lati.

Has Eccles ever played at RB?

I think this could be the end of our winning streak, we really have not been convincing of late. The last few outings have been reminiscent of our games at the start of the season.

For me Allen needs to come back into the fold, we are far to passive off the ball.

If the switch is Eccles to RB I wouldn't be against this, and wouldn't be in any case.

I’m pretty sure he’s also played RB at times.

Explaining the injuries, the head coach said: “Ephron has been struggling a bit this week with a toe injury, which is a painful one. He passed a fitness test on Friday and this is a recurrence of that, so we will just have to gauge it. Let’s hope he’s OK for Tuesday.”

He added: “Milan felt a little bit of an issue in his Achilles. He felt he could carry on and we’re hoping it’s not a bad injury and we’ll look and see how he reports tomorrow (Sun) but with a bit of luck he’ll be OK and in contention for Tuesday as well. But we’ll see.”

I suspect both will be rested. We may well go to 5 at the back to do that.

Obviously he's come onwith fresh legs but he definitely injected a bit of energy and bite into the midfield yesterday.

Sorry, I meant in this run of fixtures rather than the game just gone, tho that probably coincided with the 5 at the back.

I would take that now! Score draw at their place is a decent result

I’d go to a back 5 and stick tatsu at wing back. Without the ball Bidwell can drop back and Lati move over to make a back 4.

Dovin
Lati Thomas Kitching
Sakamoto Sheaf Grimes Torp Bidwell
BTA Simms

He's never played RB in senior football, only RWB

Wildcard but Jack Burroughs is a natural RB/RWB if worse comes to worse .

They're struggling with a lot of injuries at the minute. Salvesen, Osborn, Nyambe and Roofe were all ruled out over the course of this week.

Had a glance at their forum and it looks like a few more were hobbling after their win at Blackburn. They're not confident the squad has the energy or depth to put in a similar effort on Tuesday.

Their ability in front of goal looks abysmal. Only 4 shots on target in the past four games. However, as shown against Stoke and Oxford that doesn't mean much...

The form table suggests we couldn’t ask for a better fixture on Tuesday night. And we’ve proved we can win these kind of games home or away.

Has Frank been back to / played against Derby since he left? Obviously nowhere near Robins return levels of yesterday but may be another little psychological factor to contend with - can't recall if he left on good terms.

He did he was hoping to see some old faces from his time there so I think it suggests things finished up amicably.

Most worrying is that Derby scored two early goals against Blackburn and we really seem to start slowly and be vulnerable to early attacks. (except Portsmouth, and look what happened then!!!) . We could’ve been one down early on to Stoke if it wasn’t for Dovin.

Don’t actually mind this but would insist on Grimes over Allen and moving Sheaf onto the left hand side.

Sakamoto missing out is unfortunate but he struggles in a wingback position.

Okay if EMC is out who is playing on the left for Sakamoto to play? If we revert to 3-5-2 there is no room for him

They won against Blackburn but we will more then enough to beat these, we have the momentum and quality, they have the likes of Osborne plus another 4 put so we need to go there and do the business! Give us a cushion over 6th/7th and hope results go our way, Sheffield United are playing Bristol and Burnley playing Baggies.

UP THE FACKIN CITY cannot wait for Tuesday

It would be nice to win this to give us as big of a cushion as possible before three tough games against sides in the Top 4

However Derby will have a leg up after yesterday and will be bang up for it - Tougher game than we are anticipating in store

I prefer sheaf to him and don’t believe they can play together. He’s been amongst our lowest rated players on Fotmob for our last 2 games and was at fault for a goal in one of them. I like Grimes I think he’ll be good for us, just wouldn’t pick him for this one. Only an opinion pal

3-1 - We are a far better team than they are if we play anywhere near our best we beat them easily.

It'll be a good game Lampard back at Derby and Eustace with his Cov connections but if we play to our best we beat these, no game in this league is easy look at Pompy today but if we put it on them from the off we will score alot of goals, no disrespect to them as they are fighting for their lives but we will have too much for them

Ok it's only an opinion, well Frank Lampard obviously rates Grimes so that's all that counts.

And to answer your question what if EMC is out, I would play Haji Wright on the left with Simms and Sakamoto on the right.
