I like the look of our team tbf, Haji out wide is different and something which I reckon teams won’t expect. Also, having the pace of both Asante and EMC whilst still having the attacking passing and vision of Torp and Rudoni is great. I’ll go 2-0 today even though we rarely beat defensive teams.

Haji is up front I reckon. Lampard has used BTA wide far more than Haji

A very unbalanced front three.
Our productivity from the right will be severely limited without Tats.
Not looking forward to watching BTA trying to cross the ball!!!

We really need someone to come in for the forward line.

He put a great cross in for Simms on Tuesday. Admittedly a rarity bit still

No Saka is a worry. Who else will turn the left back 3 times so the CBs can get back into position?

Why? MvE isnt a winger

Fast down the wing, can cross a ball. If we kept KKH and MVE after the windows closed we will have to find a way to play them both and KKH is better defensively

I think better will be more effective on the right side. We will have decent pace going forward. I hope Torp and Rudoni test the keeper from distance. We seem shy of doing this sometimes.

It will be a disaster if we end up playing two RB's and one at RW after the window

It’s either that or KKH playing LB but we can’t have KKH on the bench, we will have to find a way

After this worked for them last season I think you're right. Hopefully are performance will not be as insipid as last season!

It will be a disaster if they play together at any point . Two overlapping fullbacks getting in each others way

So we're playing a right back at right wing and a right back at left back ?

Simms was not that good in the week. It is a misconception some are trying to overcompensate on.

Yes and no. Looked slightly sharper and more decisive and the ones he missed were not a great watch. However with strikers it's about momentum and I fear Lampards preference for BTA is not going to help us much today. Hope I'm wrong. Can see a cagey 0-0 which away is fine.

Can you not read? Might be worth double checking before firing off a response bro

It’s either playing them as RB and RW or playing them as RB and LB

KKH has played numerous games as a LB

Those optics look shit........................score a goal, get dropped to the bench!!!!! Our highest (and only ) goalscorer don't even get a start, Frank must really have a downer on Simms, Robins did the same sort of thing iirc why do we shackle ourselves like this all the time, just go and WIN a game going for it ffs

I'm still haunted by that 0-0 at a Bolton team with an average age of 15

Hope saka isn't out for long but he isn't the best in away games sometimes.

On paper it's a very exciting line up so surprised to see posts about how we need more attackers

Interested to see how we line up

Take a draw!
