Yeah this is a tough tough game. Derby's first home match, it will be a full house. Anything from this will be ok. Clean sheet the first target.

I can't remember the last time we won at Derby, anyone?

I do recall being at the old baseball ground, going a couple of goals up and losing in the FA Cup

Love the optimism. But can't base it on anything personally. Our hopes rely on keeping another clean sheet and Rudoni.

Sorry to be such a doom monger but I don't think we'll do so well here.

I mean we lost twice to these even when they were garbage hoof merchants, never mind now they’re trying to play football. Not sure where the overconfidence comes from.

Horrible night that was... I remember getting tickets in the away end from a Derby County schoolboy who had a career.

Did Harry Shaw do away games in the 90s... I remember being in town after but Cov coaches always went from & to the Tavern.

I never feel confident when going into an away game that will potentially have a noisey home crowd. Still see our team as a bunch of pussies barring one or two. There's no real grit away from the defenders.

Anyway, would imagine it will be this. Wasn't impressed with EMC against Hull, although he may have been carrying a knock. But I'm also pained to see Simms in the line up. That said, I think I'm leaning towards Wright on the left with Simms up top.

The Sunderland away performance will be adequate. But are we there yet?

Would take a point tbf, then hopefully take the 3 against QPR at home.

No you must be thinking of the old baseball ground. I never knew Archie Gemmil was 6ft tall. I had always seen him in 6 inches of mud.

Tough place to go but it will suit us more if Derby do try and play football. We can out’ tippy tap’ almost anyone in the league. I wonder if many of our games are going to be like a game of chess like the first two.

Unfortunately they bullied us last season & with there new recruits, I can see us falling short again .
We are too easy to play against & Simms up top & a slowly returning Hadji , we are pretty toothless ……. So let’s hope I’ve got it all wrong

Hope it's better than the last game at Derby. Awful performance and a £60 parking fine.

I reckon we'll see 4-4-2 for this one unless Rapha is being trusted with a starting berth in the league. Unless I've missed it, there's no update on EMC so at this point I'd presume he's not going to take part.

Omg that game was just shite - the pitch was a disgrace we just never clicked that night and they bullied us into defeat

One less midfielder away from home? Unlikely. If EMC is injured then Wright plays left and Simms up top.

What was odd is both of those performances came in the middle of a good run as we pushed for play offs. Which made it even more dissapointing.
