Okay, but some fans believe that the certain approach you're referring to solves nothing, again no one would be sad to see the back of our current owners, but by shouting a few words and showing no support to the players pitch, at a point where Sisu could probably give two hoots about it, solves nothing.

If it's accepted that sisu have been a disaster and they're not going to change, then doesn't it mean that we can have our hopes and dreams (or delusions!) but the reality will be ongoing decline, crowds falling even further, etc etc?

Can you answer me how many people do you think, think that the wasps move is good for CCFC?

So far I get the impression you maybe referring to two people.

All people express on here are opinions. You cannot present evidence in a forum. If we are speculating about the future, no one knows what will happen. All we can do is guess based on past experience. People may have vastly differing opinions on that. Lighten up!

If that were true and people really were basing their CCFC predictions on past experience... they'd be predicting a pile of shit, followed by yet more shit.

I think your first sentence is exactly what happened. If SISU were offered the entirety of ACL for what, £5.5m, they'd have had to show enormous stupidity even by their own standards not to take it. Even the Higgs noted SISU's past dealings with them as an influence in rejecting their offer.

No, it's NOT the same.
The loan is part of ACL's financial balance - they have assets to counter the loan.
If ACL did not have sufficient assets to cover the loan they would be insolvent.

Wasps paid £5.5m - not £20m.

Same logic.
To try and ignore the loan when you discuss the value of this deal is completely wrong.

No, when Wasps bought ACL they accepted the overall value of the company and the potential profitability going forward (including servicing the loan) could justify the price of £5.5m.

I am not exactly even sure what the question is? It just looks like something you are copying and pasting if people slightly disagree with you?

You really think a hedge fund would not have been capable of raising the finance to buy a facility like the Ricoh below its true value? They would have had investors jumping at that. But it was too late at that point.

The offer they put on the table in late 2012 was more generous than that offered by Wasps and would have seen the mortgage settled in full. That it didn't happen is down to them and the way they operated, so I am not defending them, but let's not pretend they are broke. Very naive.

A credible hedge fund could easily raise the cash. So Malaka was probably correct.:jerkit:

The only delusion is that after Sisu painted us into this corner that there'd be a way out. It's one still practised on this site.

Whether it's good or bad for us is irrelevant. The salient point is we willingly took the issue out of our own hands. And people cheered the business acumen of those doing it.

You can't say you don't want a stadium then bitch when someone else does. That's just childish.

We willingly fucked our own club over while the idiots sat on the sidelines cheering the tactics and gloating about how the corrupt council would have it all come out in court. And as you see from this thread they're still cheering.

To be fair, I don't think anyone in this thread has said sisu have not been a disaster as owners, they're not a cancer on the club and we will progress under them. Equally, I don't think anyone has in this thread said wasps will be good for ccfc.

Is it just me but are you dragging this on a bit and starting to get a little irritating ?

Lets concentrate only on things we can influence and not things that are done and dusted. Things like ...

Attending matches and supporting the team.
Making every effort we can to get Sisu to drop the JR and Timpot stadium.
Avoid new stadium action meetings until Sisu show us something positive.
Concentrating our collective efforts on getting the best deal we can at the Ricoh.
Get into Wasps/Ricoh supporters groups and make a contribution and gain influence.

We need to work with Wasps to get what we can before they decide to carry on without us.

The only way forward is in partnership with wasps, its simple. Dragging the club through further court cases will only prevent money being spent on the pitch, this results in poor product and low attendances. SISU are not fit for purpose as fair as owning and running a football club, I think if their was an easy out for them they would be gone. The over riding issue for me is that they continue to posture about new stadia and financial fair play and as far as most are concerned they are pie in the sky. The better the product on the pitch, the more people attend games and the more money they spend. How can any one hope to be taken seriously with any owner of the Ricoh if they continually spout crap about moving on? The way to move forward is to engage with Wasps owners and fans to the betterment of both teams, not just sulk about something that's out of our control now. The owners of this club had their chance to do the right thing, and has been proven in court, they went about it in entirely the wrong way. Business is like sport, you cant win all the time and SISU lost, if they are to remain our owners though they desperately need to do two things. The first is to stop spouting rubbish about FFP and new grounds and seriously engage with Wasps and the second is to get rid of Fisher immediately, whilst he is involved with the club he will continually embarrass the fans and club and be a stumbling block in moving anything forward. And one last thing, Wasps have not killed our club, they have not taken away our stadium either, we have never owned it. They will be far happier with a successful football team playing their than not.

How does not attending meetings or refusing to engage gain influence? That is EXACTLY why the Trust/Michael are pissing in the wind at the moment.

NOPM was an absolute disaster for this club and those responsible for organising it should be ashamed. It has made it ok not to support the club anymore becasue we have shit owners and that should never have become an accepted thing to do.

I think this is an excellent post.

If we do not adopt a positive approach then we are doomed. We may not like our current situation , but until people accept that it is what it is we will not be able to move on and change things for the better.

NOPM will eventually be seen as what saved our club. NOPM was an absolute disaster for SISU. But as we all agree SISU are NOT CCFC

OK, if Wasps are willing not to charge rent and let us have the revenues we generate then this might happen. We are a cash cow to them, nothing more nothing less.
