England striker Jermain Defoe is watching Big Brother 11 online while in South Africa.
The Tottenham striker, who scored England's winner against Slovenia earlier this week, admitted that he is a fanatical follower of the Channel 4 reality show during an appearance on James Corden's World Cup Live.
In a pre-recorded interview with the comic, Defoe claimed that he had planned ahead for potentially missing the programme.
"Surely you can get it on the internet," he said. "That's what I'm gonna do."
Host Corden then teased the sports star for his track record of dating Big Brother contestants. His previous girlfriends include Chantelle Houghton, Imogen Thomas, Danielle Lloyd and Sophie Reade.
Mocking the 28-year-old, Corden joked: "Are you checking out who your next girlfriend will be?" Defoe replied: "No, no I won't be doing that. My mum has given me enough banter for that. She said have you got a contract with Big Brother or something."
