I read somewhere that he'd had a heart attack or stroke. The family had been very guarded on his illness though.
Such a shame as he was one of my favourite players back in the 90's

TBF, it's his family who have reported him as having taken his own life, having had a number of significant attempts in recent years. Haunted by his demons, it would appear. Sad.

Such a shame, you never know what's going on inside someone's head. Always seems doubly sad when it's someone who on the outside appears to have had it all.

aka Paderewski - who was a Polish pianist (hence Gnr Graham's nickname to the battery) who fought for Poland's independence and became prime minister!
My surname being Graham led to some nicknames at school during those times. RIP John

Never too soon mate.

Loved Svens time tbh, probably my favourite as an England fan and when I was most engaged with the team. Largely not bothered in recent years.

Also @wingy don't just use compare the market. Use Top Cashback and their own comparison. As long as you click through there when you order, you normally get about £40 on insurances and the same price. I've just done our broadband and had £50 back plus £85 voucher for Tesco. Easily over £1k back in last 2 years since I started.

What a shame. Bastard disease always seems to come back. Last I'd heard he was over it and healthy.

RIP

Herbie Flowers.
Great bassist, and such a range of music, from Sky to T Rex to Lou Reed to Clive Dunn, and hundreds in between.
Have a Tuba Smarties Herbie. A life well lived.
