Funny how he is mentioned as a "businessman" and joint Chairman of the 'Ammers, but not that he made his millions from being a porn baron!
I notice how Karren Brady is vice chairman

Shocked. He looked fit as a fiddle on the sidelines for Italy in the euros.

I remember another forum I was on years and years ago had a death pool competition where you picked ten names and got points depending on how young the dead person was. That is, until one year someone picked the ten unborn children of various pregnant celebrities...

That has shocked me, both that he has died and also that he was 58, like NW I thought it wasn't that long ago he retired.

I didn’t know he was ill either until the other day when I read, I think it was Richard Keys, saying he was in a very bad way.

It does hit home when players that were playing when I was most obsessed with football are now passing away.

What a striker as well. Such a shame and no age at all.

Great player.
Knew he was ill, missed a trick not putting him on my list.

RIP

Not just Rugby he was good at, was also a decent cross country runner, and am sure it's been embellished with time, but apparently his long jump was up there as world standard.

I wasn't a big rugby fan but the likes of David Duckham, Keith Fairbrother et al, were household names in the city during their playing days.

Saw him at Warwick arts centre, and mrs OSB waited all evening for him to play that. He didn’t bother, played all his great tunes instead
