is apparantly 6/1 favourite to become the new coventry city manager. This is from Coventry MAD and its Sky Bet that are offering these odds.

Anyone think he's upto the task?

=============

He lives in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire which is an average 50 minute drive from Cov so wouldn't be an issue aka relocating as he's local.

He achieved promotion with Newport County before joining Aldershot.

He's also a city old boy...

=============

Thing is though, back in 96 he almost got done for screwing lindsey dawn Mckenzie when she was 17 and he punched his wife at some point and got done for that....would that turn people away like it did when we got King?

That was back in 1999 though...he's had 12 years to improve as an individual and he played for us in 2003.

He's just signed a contract extension so that would cost us.

Apparently their fans would be gutted if he left but wouldn't miss his "hoofball" tactics.

Hoofball will not work with this team. Long ball up to who? We only have Callum and Ball. McDonald and Elliot are too small.

Would definitely need to bring in a big target man.
