Thommo. Dynamo on the wing or through central midfield. Proper top-tier talent. A shame that injuries knackered his career.

You were not that bloke who used to sit behind us in the main stand were you who used to shout.." Give it to Thommo" every time we attacked?

Frogatt. By a country mile. Had he not have got injured he'd have been a regular in the England squad

Froggy was a legend ! Not seen a player since that was that exciting going forward! And I also agree sumerbee is a wanker!

Thompson , just a great player.

Can we stop these dam comparisons, it just makes what we're going through at the moment all the more sickening

Both class

Thompson for me though - one of those players who just got you to you feet with anticipation every time he was on the ball.

Thommo. Brilliant, tenacious. Sent off on his debut. Fantastic.

you don't see many players like Froggatt anymore, just wanted to beat the full back on the outside and get the cross in. great player. Thompson was good but not as good.

Astonishingly good. You'd be hard-pressed to think of many players who rank as highly on the unfulfilled potential chart as he does.

Would agree, I think the move to Liverpool and his back problem was what stopped him being a top England keeper. A real shame.
