David McGoldrick scores after 9mins and 59 seconds..... (1 Viewer)

Bit of a random post but I had a bet on McGoldrick to score in the first 10mins on Sunday and thought my luck was out when it was reported that he scored in the 11th minute.

After returning home from the game I braved the first 10mins of the match on Sky+ to see how far away I was only to see the ball hit the back of the net at 9mins 59seconds!

I contacted SkyBet to dispute the bet and they have agreed (after I sent in a screen shot!) that it was in fact scored in the first 10 mins and so are paying out.

On the slim chance that anyone else had a similar bet you are now a winner!

It was 20-1 and I only put a quid on but it was the principle of it!

A second to spare, that's the sweetest possible way to win that bet. Plus you get to shove it down Skybet's throat.

I haven't enjoyed winning a bet this much since I once had Carlton Palmer to score the first goal at 50-1...

Haha I had a fiver on Keogh first scorer at 50/1 away at Norwich a couple of years back, had a few beers that night !

I won £270 from a fiver on the internationals on Friday.

I had Keogh every game last year and got nothing - he goes to Derby and scores the first goal twice!
