Can I say the man earns my respect after last night.David Bell sat across the gangway from me last night. As I sat next to the dugout near the reserves and others.Cody was there also.As Baker scored I jumped as we all did I look across and there was Bell jumping up like any other fan,and when the winner went in they were all up like little kids,i was brilliant.
I think Robins has got those not involved at present feeling part of the whole team, which us good to see.PUSB

Bell, as passionate a fan as any of us...except he gets paid £3k a week to sit on his arse

I can't remember the last time he played for us, let alone the last time he made any kind of positive contribution to CCFC.

Think he could do well in this system with Clarke bringing attacking midfielders into play........if he stays fit

Strange coming from you...one of the few we know thorn scouted for the club.

I think Thorn may have been talking to his stomach there.

I like David Bell, he just needs to get fit and we'll have a player too good for league 1.

If Bell gets back into the side it'll be because he's earnt it rather than because he's mates with the manager. Huge difference between this regime and the last.

Thorn really was ahead if his time as Sky Blue John once said. When we were in the championship he signed players fit for league one. In the summer he thought he'd be around for a while so he signed players fit for league two.

I just hope when he is back everyone gives him a chance. He is a top bloke and very down to earth. I think he will be a good asset in this league.

His hallmark signing hasn't looked fit full stop.

Haven't read the rest of the posts and I'm very pickled! Anyhoo here's wat I think of Bell, he has under performed at our club so far, not been worth the money we hav been paying him, but i would of said the same about Baker at the start of the season, shows flashes of brilliance maybe every 5 games and is shit all other times. U ask me now about Baker and I'd say, he's always trying, works harder then anyone else, even if the end product doesn't pay of, he trys, and that's all u can ask for. If Bell comes back into the team I hope he has the same impact that Baker has, because from the rare flashes of brilliance he did show in the championship he should rip league 1 a new one, lol!

Don't know if any of that makes sense, and I'm too pickled to proof read it, so enjoy my ramblings!

For God's sake. A thread relating to how it's nice to see a player celebrating his team's success becomes twisted into yet another rant about Thorn. You need help old lad

Nope it's C J who needs help. He's trying to develop a career on the comedy circuit. It's a routine based on Andy thorn. He'd trying out on another thread. I am merely trying to help him with some material. BSB even supplied a punch line.

ACL will be the management company. We all know CJ loves them above the football club.

Tactic of selling tickets at 8 times the market value may backfire though. 8 pence to watch CJ? No thanks.

I could pay that but £8 for a sausage roll is out of the question.
