As our DFO he’s been a regular at home and away games. England away trips too. Not liked by everyone but that comes with the territory. Seen on a few occasions the positive impact he has had. Especially when it comes to dealing with incidents involving other forces.

Agree. That problem was all down to his colleagues at West Yorkshire. They waded in heavy handed and it was starting to get very heated. It was calm within 30 seconds of him arriving. Sorted out a minute or two later.

Never heard of the bloke but if he was a decent copper with common sense and a calming nature as it seems then best of luck to him and he’ll be missed (just not by me, cos I didn’t know he existed).

We’re lucky with the police we have (bar WY). They’re incomparable with what you get abroad. Seen the handy work of some forces first hand and they’re desperate to get involved. If nothing is happening they’ll cause it to happen.
