Was told yesterday Hockaday is not a Steve Pressley appointment and will be taking over the first team soon, so lets watch this space eh! The guy who he supposedly took over from was invited to leave, by whom though.

Hardly breaking news from your source. Would imagine everybody on here suspects what your "source" has told you.

I would prefer Timmy Mallet's "Wackaday" .

I am not a huge pressley fan but personally now he has signed these players he needs chance to see if we can make up the 8 points a drift from the playoffs or the odd couple of points of relegation and see what the next 6 games brings if we go on to lose 4/5 of these then yes give him the boot no more excuses no he's been backed with (_in my opinion) some good transfer deadline day signing. N.B we should sign Roger Johnson now he's a free agent.....wages aside he is earning nothing at the moment and needs game time to secure a decent move next season.

14 wins out of 18 games needed to get us near the play offs

or 12 wins, 6 draws and no defeats

Bristol City & Preston away - that's 2 defeats for starters. Judging SP is difficult if he has no say on the players coming in.

i heard from a "source" that old u21 manager got the boot because players didnt like him but no idea if true.

i would rather pressley given till end of season than hockaday coming in just yet.

I agree if he's got the players in he should be given to the end I the season. Be so frustrating if the players are successful if we don't keep them beyond the end of the season though. Like the winger who went to port vale

Bill Badger or Edward Trunk. Don't believe a word he says if it was Edward. He's the one who gave CT the story that PRessley was off to Hudderfield. To be honest, I'd only trust Bill and maybe Podgy Pig.

It makes sense of course. Pressley hasn't been allowed to bring in a number of players in January because he's on his way

It wouldn't make sense at all, Hockeday isn't a manager. Leeds didn't appoint him as a Manager, he was a first team coach with the owner taking overall control....hang on? Doesn't make sense? SISU? It will happen then!
