That's exactly the reason, can't arrange one with a different team as they'd want guaranteed opposition so play the losers instead. I agree, all international friendlies are pointless. I only bother watching the World Cup warm up friendlies

Should just end the camp - The players will be gutted, the fans won't want to go and it is not like they have a tournament to be preparing for now to justify playing a friendly

They should be playing their 2nd choice team now. It would be annoying and frustrating to see DaSilva playing another (pointless) 90 minutes.

Got to think Lampard will be on the phone asking Bellamy to not play DaSilva. Don't see why they wouldn't. Its usually in the international manager's interest to maintain good club relations.
