Potentially a great signing for Rochdale, no doubt we are paying some of his wages, but they get a striker who has been training with a premier league squad.

I doubt it, the 23s and first team train away from each other

Interesting. Supposed to have a good youth scoring record and a loan at league 2 immediately toughens him up and gets experience. If he somehow bangs in 15-20 goals we'd all be excited about the potential.

Love how these moves come together. How have we not even signed him officially and he's already off to another club. I assume we've had a look at him in training for a few weeks?

No problem signing players looking to the future (despite the lack of success with U23 signings last few years on the whole) but I just hope this won't be taking out of the budget for the spaces we need to fill in the first team. We've got 4 first team strikers and the likes of Tavares, Bapaga and Nee in U23.

My point was more about forward players. Bapaga is more of a winger too.

The loan is probably a thank you to Rochdale for Tavares. Probably some networking been going on.

Tavares started 1 league game for Rochdale and some of their fans were happy they got any kind of fee, not as if we took one of their main players

hope we can get some kind of partnership going on with Rochdale where we loan our young lads to them and they feed us talents. they’ve had some really decent talents on their books recently namely that Matheson kid from Wolves and Kwadwo Baah.

I imagine we've got a thing going with them now, what with cashman going there before we've even signed him. Wouldn't mind sending an ngandu or bapaga there either. League 2, promotion chasing team. Certainly toughens you up.

They actually are in need of a winger i believe after selling Baah to Watford id imagine Bapz is more than qualified for that.

Just checked Danny’s Instagram, he’s started following Rochdale and Sam Graham whose also just signed. Seems like this is 100% complete. Bit strange he hasn’t followed us yet.

Why would they agree to that if bigger clubs will pay more money for their players?

because they’d be getting our players on loan, this isn’t an exclusivity deal i’m proposing, just a partnership if the price is right we’d be the first option. unless they partner with a bigger club though. first come first serve innit, brighton have partnered with hibs so i don’t see why we can’t partner with the Dale.
