It’s such a tough call this. I obviously feel sorry for those that can’t compete (as long as they don’t support Putin) and in a way it doesn’t sit right with me as it’s not like they can even really speak out against Putin for fear of repercussions

However, the problem is that if a Russian won, Putin would use that as massive propaganda at home. Also he might try to counter players being banned by saying ‘everyone’s against us’ but you’d hope that at least some of the Russian public would start to question why this was happening for a ‘special military operation’ ?

Unfortunately only Wimbledon having the balls to do it means it might be turned into the Brits hate us etc etc. as I say though surely the public should be wondering WTF is happening when their sports stars aren’t allowed to compete anywhere….as well as ‘why can’t I get my Big Mac’ and ‘why can’t I get on this internet site’….maybe they’re just blind to it all though

Have to say, I do feel a bit uncomfortable banning sports people just because of where they come from. It's maybe different banning a national side, or Russia at the Olympics, but stopping sunshine from working for the crime of being Russian...?

Completely agree mate, no one should be banned because of where they come from or because of the crimes of their country. If people were it wouldn't be only Russians you'd be banning... but hey makes them look good (to some people I suppose)
Seems a bit racist to me.

Well, their and ATPs actions. I’m sure Putin will also use ATPs stance to suggest other sporting bodies excluding Russian sportsmen and women is wrong.

Wouldnt the real problem be that we have is the person presenting the trophy is the future queen
