According to this report Sturridge and Rodgers have known each other since their days at coventry.Was Rodgers here at some point?

Best I could find was this quote from Rodgers

Yea that is likely, the people in that link probably read the quote and jumped to assumptions that they were here together

According to his wiki Rodgers was youth coach at Reading and Chelsea

Didn't Brendan Rodgers pass through Cov on a train once. I think he waved at Sturridge as he was arriving at Lime Street Station. Maybe that's the connection!
