No player in our squad will command a substantial transfer fee therefore, I do not expect us to be ‘forced’ to sell anybody

You would struggle to get a fee for any of those players other than Dabo and McCallum

That was 7 years ago, Prices have inflated massively since then. PL TV deal has increased by over 3bn since then.

The princes haven’t inflated for L1 centre backs - Leon Barnett went according to transfermarkt for £3.38m in 07/08 and that’s only been bettered once when Matt Clarke went to Brighton for £3.51m this summer.

They were 21 and 22 years old when they moved. Hyam is 24.

Only CCFC players likely to command close to a £1m+ fee are Dabo, McCallum and Godden (if he keeps up the goalscoring between now and Jan 31st).
