If true, don't blame him. Better employment security than with this shower of shte. Wonder if he can be persuaded to say anything about his experiences of the last 2 years or so :thinking about:

If the club wasn't owned or run by idiots he wouldn't leave.

Obviously not a lot of call for a ticket manager at Ccfc.

He's not a casualty - he's got a more secure job (and I wouldn't be surprised if it's more money too).

Well he's been doing a pretty shitty job of raising attendances this season.

Clearly he will be on more money, we're comparing a shitty league 1 club with an established PL one.

If you aspire to Conference size attendances then you must budget for Conference size infrastructure and staffing levels.

If we are being backed by some prince, he is doing a great job - of remaining anonymous.

Irrelevant. Do you get paid more for being a shop assistant in Tesco than you would elsewhere?

Like many other have said fair play to him, he deserves a chance to go to somewhere in which will earn him a decent salary and a job security.

However you left go to the Villa you utter ****

Not always the case. Behind the scenes staff wages in football are pretty average, don't be confused with Players and Executives where there is a massive difference.

Maybe we'll headhunt the Brentford Ticket Office manager? Meets the criteria?

Personally I'd say good luck to the fella.

I'm guessing it's a bit chaotic at the moment, now that they've moved out of the Ricoh, and I'd guess that a little stability (plus perhaps a few more bob) would be attractive to most people at the club, certainly on the non-playing side. Who could blame him.

Dan is a top lad, went to my school. Why would he want to stay ticket office manager of a club that doesnt have a ticket office. Good luck to him. This club is a joke.

He is also the person behind the SCG, before we left the Ricoh.
No idea what the SCG stands for now as most groups no longer exist.

Below is a copy email I sent to Dan in july

"Afternoon Dan

Cannot access the online shop to access season tickets - "Runtime Error" and the two telephone numbers given for season tickets both have a recorded message "this telephone number is not accepting calls"

This club is a joke and you really need to be looking for another job Dan as to continue to be associated with it will seriously damage your career, in my opinion."

He replied saying he was quite happy in his job!

Looks like he eventually saw sense and took my advice?

FFS Grendel, it was a light-hearted post - you are such a sad and twisted man, you really are!
