There are a few places, there is the Black Horse, Bull & Anchor, the Hub, The casino (at the ground), The wheatsheaf.

I am not too sure which are away fans pubs nowadays though but like with all things if people aren't silly they can go anywhere.

We have plenty of our own so no problem their then.

The Black Horse on Exhall is the usual designated away pub or the Longford Engine is used as a mixed with no bother, the Hub is used sometimes, and the Casino obviously at the ground.

God knows can't keep up with it, try not to go anywhere near it unless Booze Buster is needed.

My missus knows the guy that runs it, seem to remember him being keen on it becoming a City fan pub so wouldn't be surprised.

The easy option is the casino, but it's obviously not a proper pub.

Three Horse Shoes

1007 Foleshill Road, Coventry, West Midlands CV6 5HN Phone:024 7666 4523 - better place for pint & sky sports tv etc... friendly pub allows away fans with us home fans only 15 min walk. large car park at back of pub £5.

J.K.Indian Grill and Bar Foleshill Rd CV6 6ER Tel. 024 76686394

JK english (opposite wheatshef )is ok to but no sky sports and also 15 minute walk. I think you get more away fans go there.

Wheatsheaf pub is packed with home fans which is opposite JK Indian pub

For a good drink and banter come to the Wheatsheaf pub on the Foleshill Road.Only ten minute walk to the Ricoh and away fans welcome.Three Horse Shoes a few yards up the road is okay too and if you like a drink and a gamble you've the Casino next to the stadium. But the Wheatsheaf is a spit and sawdust boozer so as your from up north you'll feel at home.Only joking !

I've been going in there since we moved from Highfield Road to the Ricoh. I like the regulars there and the bar staff too just easy going people and we all mix in together and get on well.I went down the Red Lion in Walsgrave in the summer as it was my local for years and hadn't been in there for a long time. To me it was more like a restuarant and not really a pub anymore with most people eating than drinking. give me the Wheatsheaf any day !

Nothing against the Three Horse Shoes, but if your knees are anything like mine you'd be better to allow more like 25 minutes to get to the ground!
