Funny if they did take the club over , so many people on here will look like total bellends

Come on then, put your money where your mouth is.

£10 charity bet.

If Dale takes over the club by the end of the next summer (2018) transfer window, I lose. If he doesn't, you lose.

Up for it?

The way Dale Evans is going about his business is just a cringefest.

I like a good conspiracy theory , maybe just maybe something is going on in the background , but it has ZERO financial input from Dale Evans.

I base this on two things ,

1. Hoffman’s statement
2. SISU responses

There is something brewing but it’s nothing and not because of Evans , he is akin to someone arriving on a dance floor thinking he is in when he isn’t . That guy is a complete tool.

One of the few things Hoffman has said is nothing is going to happen till the legal action is over.
I think he knows that SISU need to own the club whilst they are taking legal action for whatever reason.

Thank you for your considered posts Bawtryneal.
I value your opinion and stayed away from this subject for a week until I was called out again for supporting Dale Evans.
For what it is worth I do think Nick's comments were ill thought out regarding Nigerians and credit card fraud.
Now do I really believe Nick is a racist, no I don't and for what it's worth nor does my black wife think of it as a slur, she is used to such stereotypical comments from people who mean no harm but at best it is insensitive and is best left in the past like the black and white minstrels, love thy neighbour and Jim Davidson.
I am not going to give oxygen to this subject anymore but state that giving someone the benefit of the doubt is not the same as believing them and taking a stand about that is something I will not be apologizing for.
Differences of opinion is what a forum is about and a shared love of Coventry City is what brings us here. I will join the others in kicking Dale Evans when we are certain he is is what many suspect.
Bawtryneal, I am a long time supporter who is late to this social media lark and like you I will look anybody in the eye and state my case.
Your backing of Nick does you and others credit, as you know him, certainly better than you know me and I value loyalty as a really positive trait, just as I value not jumping to conclusions.

I'm starting to think you're either as deranged as Dale Evans is or just trolling on this subject. Nick's comment wasn't about the colour of anyone's skin, so why are you dragging your wife into this and continuing to compare it to established racism like black and white minstrels and Jim Davidson comedy? Nick used an example of a well known Nigerian 419 scam as a means to highlight your perceived gullibility. He didn't say all Nigerians are scammers, or all black people are scammers. It's not racist and it isn't even insensitive at worst, nevermind best. That you have the gall to call Otis a c**t and then have the audacity to carry on like this, while in parallel claiming moral highground, is incredible.

Surely a professional Poker player would not show his hand ? He would remain silent and keep his cards close to his chest. Of course, Poker is a game of bluff !

Can I take that bet?

I am in no way a ‘believer’, I just think £10 to a charity, be it from my pocket or yours, is money well spent.

Also; if the mention of a well known financial scam by its country of origin, and supposed royalty, is considered racist, can I please play the race card each time someone calls me ‘Oz’ even though I’m from New Zealand?

Fuck it, anytime someone mentions the All Blacks I’m going full PC Bro.

And no one has picked up on the images on post #1347 where Dale Evans has liked his own FB post?!

Anyone who does that is a bit of a tool in my eyes.

On an entirely separate thought, when are the annual accounts for ACL etc due to be released?

The interim results have been posted at the end of February whilst the annual results have usually been published at the end of October.

"We were waiting for the legal action to conclude, but that doesn’t seem likely anytime soon."

That statement from a recent telegraph interview suggests that maybe they aren't waiting for the legal action to pass.

About the racist thing and all the pc shite, i have great black friends I also have an asian gf if I am told a joke about the irish scottish englush or welsh and I find funny I laugh, I grew up with the tv programme Love thy neighbour, at the time I worked with a black lad, he used to call me white honky and I used to call him sambo, it was all in great fun and we both laughed, neither of us was offended it was not malicious or the least bit racially intended, racism should have ended in the past where it belongs!!!!! Ignore comments because sticks and stones dont hurt anybody so stop getting on fucking bandwagons and trying to turn innocuous comments into stupid fucking arguments, I have always liked you as a poster Riyad, pkease dont spoil it

Wasps’ demise is inevitable, just a matter of time. Hopefully by then we have new owners and a council who are prepared to support the football club.

Nowt wrong me. I don't like the chalk noise on a blackboard and as that is the sole purpose of having a blackboard, to have chalk drawn all over it, I therefore don't like blackboards.

Here’s the thing- people want rid of SISU so desperately that they’ll accept any chump that walks along with a bid.

And Dale Evans has been conducting himself like a chump.

Just like the Dhinsa’s & Byngs That have showed up earlier.

It’s no wonder City fans have given Evans such short shrift.

He's lined himself up and put a great big target on his head hasn't he.

Pretty much everything he has said has been proved to be incorrect.

Whilst I fully accept that everyone can decide for themselves what entertainment they seek and how they spend their money: all City supporters should really consider applying NOPM to Wasps. A London team who are the cuckoos in our nest. Our only hope of a decent home is with their retreat from the stadium built for us. Coventry has a proud rugby club already and good to sees few diehard City fans at the BPA yesterday.

Befoe I start, please note, I've liked your post....... But, according to many on here NOPM does not affect CCFC one iota, so what makes you think it will hurt Wasps?

It would hurt wasps as they have considerable external financial commitments which require them to be a success and established in the community.
