I was told something about Dale Evans by someone who knows him and it is not very pleasant at all. Not going to repeat it on here but am happy to talk about it privately. Certainly doesn't show him at all in a good light.
Of course the person who told me this might be telling me bullshit, but it certainly leaves a little doubt in anyone's mind.
You would have to understand why some would doubt stuff he comes out with. Doesn't of course mean that this abuse thing isn't true, but he has been on the radio and talked of stuff that simply hasn't happened. Don't get your stance at all unfortunately. He said things that were factually inaccurate and was picked up on it. I really see no problem with that at all. Do we just cut him slack simply because he is a City fan?

They declared him to be a serial bullshitter. We had a good 10 minute conversation, at the end of it which this person then said about something Dale had been claiming previously that simply wasn't true and that he got an awful lot of flak for it.
This of course doesn't mean I simply believe what this person has said, but of course it has put doubts in my mind.

You don't know him or his circumstances yet you know best.
Dale Evans is somebody I don't know but do you know what strain him attempting to buy our club has put on him and his family? No but you find it difficult to cut the guy some slack.

I can't say he is a good guy or a fool but I can acknowledge that he is sincere in his attempt to assist in saving my football club. Unskilled maybe but what has he done to you to be so dismissive of him? He may turn out to be the reason our club survives.
