At the end of the day we all have one thing in commom.. were all desperate for a bit of success for once, and not be that "big club" that everyone is laughing at in the 4th teir (no disrespect too others in league 2) but we shouldnt be playing you... you look at the past and all the bigger clubs, that ended up in the 4th tier fly all the way back up, hopefully thats the same for us... but its never that easy if you're a CCFC fan.

Evans: "We hope deal will be done by Christmas"
When asked about his perceived timescales for any takeover, Dale Evans responded with an optimistic prediction.

He said: “We hope to have it wrapped up by December”
Both sentances have one word in common..."HOPE"

A message from Dale:
Does this statement phase me from sisu?
No!
I know what I'm doing
I know what we're doing
If you don't like my approach, will it matter in the end?
No!
This is our club and I'm personally doing this for the fans!
So all of you that don't like the way I've done things to get it all moving in the correct way - do I care?
Of course I do, the people I'm with know exactly what they are doing and will guide me all the way.
Does it phase me?
Not in the slightest
Will we fail this time round?
A J has more chance of losing tomorrow than we do in getting our club back.

But let me get this clear right now, my family is the most important thing in the world to me.
I'm at risk of losing my wife, my son, my brothers backing, my mum and her partners trust, giving back to my dad what he gave me, who i hadn't managed to see in a year, the rest of my family who are my world who I hold close to my heart, those closet to me that have supported me through thick and thin - especially my wife, over a club that all I want to do is save from the brink.

I've put this ahead of what i should have been concentrating my main priorities on to do something all Coventry fans would do if they had the chance.
And where has it got me?

I tell you where, depressed, miserable, upset with myself over how I'm letting my family and friends down, and utterly devastated to how I've been dragged through the mud by certain fans.
Those who have backed me since day one, and you all know whom you are I'm forever grateful but this is really becoming too much with all the lies, deceptive comments and mistrust I've gotten from yes some admittedly some myself but most of which is completely unjustifiable. Utterly had enough tonight.

Errmm... He's at risk of losing his wife and his son and his brother's backing?

Bit overdramatic isn't it?

Why is he losing his family over it?

That's a bit random

If your family was getting abused by so called fans, I highly doubt you'd think its a bit 'dramatic' then would you?!

His last post was this:

Going offline for a while, all fans who I am friends with can still contact me via messenger, just getting silly now with all these threats.

I am saying it is a bit overdramatic to say you are going to lose your wife and son over some messages on social media. I am guessing that's what it is isn't it?

I can understand anyone being upset, but surely that is when you stick together isn't it? If my family was getting abuse we would all rally round and support each other and stick together. Just seems all very extreme.

Has anyone seen evidence of this abuse, or is this just from what Dale is saying?

Some people have seen the abuse, his closest friends. He's been asked to name and shame these people, instead he's decided enough is enough for now and gone offline for a while. I think that's the best way.

Yeah, I agree. I bet he now wishes he had done all of this behind the scenes in the first place.

If anyone has verbally abused his wife and kids I hope the police hunt them down and bring them to book.

After being slagged off by a lot of City fans, I wouldn't blame the lad telling us all to fuck off and do it yourselves. It is obvious if he's got all that money that the vast majority is going to go to towards buying into the Football Club which is not going to be to his wifes liking(Going by most womens comments that I hear in conversations) and Nick... Are you really that confused over what he's saying?

Why? It IS overdramatic isn't it? Very extreme to talk of losing your wife and son over comments on social media.

What is wrong with that comment?

If you'd followed any of his posts you would of seen the abuse he receives just through them alone. Not including the abuse through his messenger. Are people wanting to see evidence of abuse now too?

Do you know the meaning of the word 'overdramatic?'

Theatrical, blood and thunder, cloak and dagger, extravagant in speech or behaviour are but four of the synonyms.

Don't see anything wrong with that at all. It all seems overly extreme.

Well yeah, but then that is surely about the money, not about abuse on social media. That might have just tipped the balance though, but seems like his missus wasn't happy in the first place.

From the start you have seen fit to disparage the guy. You don't know him or his circumstances yet you know best.
Dale Evans is somebody I don't know but do you know what strain him attempting to buy our club has put on him and his family? No but you find it difficult to cut the guy some slack.
Where's your empathy man?

Have lots of empathy. I am very much someone who empathises.

I was told something about Dale Evans by someone who knows him and it is not very pleasant at all. Not going to repeat it on here but am happy to talk about it privately. Certainly doesn't show him at all in a good light.

Of course the person who told me this might be telling me bullshit, but it certainly leaves a little doubt in anyone's mind.
