Would hope so as he’s in Portugal with their kit on!

He is a complete mentalist so nothing would surprise me. Always played like he was told the rules 5 minutes before coming on

Outside of the top 3/4 it’s League One standard. I doubt a L1 side with promotion aims would consider him

The guy’s a total liability and I’m amazed he’s had multiple clubs bidding for him. Would rather still have Kastaneer on the books.

On what grounds? DaCosta was almost certainly on a bigger wage.

Besides, they both offered nothing to the first team bar the odd wild card moment, but DaCosta's mistakes were much more likely to cost us at RWB than Kasta's in attacking midfield. Kasta was crap but harmless, DaCosta was crap and a liability.

On the grounds that Dacosta is better than Kastaneer.
Not every signing works out…but there’s not working out, then quite a few levels below that there’s Gervaine Kastaneer.

My Hearts supporting mate reckons he’s the worst player he’s ever seen both for and against Hearts. That was last year, when Hearts were in the Scottish 2nd Tier…THE SCOTTISH 2ND TIER.
By my reckoning that means Kastaneer might get on the bench for Allsley Aces under 12s, if they’re still going. In fact he’d only make the bench even if they’re not.

Don't get me wrong, Kastaneer is undoubtedly the worse player. But ironically, he was doing less damage to us pottering around the U23s on a lower wage than DaCosta was wandering around the CBS out of position in the first team.

Don’t get me wrong, Dacosta wasn’t great either, but I think that he was at least threatening the first team at times. He was capable of playing on occasions as if he could/might contribute. I think he was unfairly criticised at times…although at other times entirely justified!
I sense we’re both happy neither are on our books anymore.

Confirmed now.

Surely it means Robins is confident that Kane and Dabo will be fit again?

And Josh Eccles has shown he's a much better bet than DaCosta

Yes it shows how much MR trusted Da Costa that he’d rather play a young midfielder out of position

If you consider MR is happy to play Shipley on the left and Eccles on the right we have 3 players for each side this season.

If they don’t use him they can’t work out how bad he is, just hope he looks good in training

unfortunately - his first 45 minutes for them might have given them enough evidence to bin him
