Is this a riddle?

Colour me intrigued.

500k and I'd let him go. I think that's what he wants.
We have cover with Phillips, Willis and even Jordan Clarke.

I think he's an exceptional player when he's on form, but unfortunately he's going through a rough patch. He's not to blame for us conceding the goals recently, who's to say that if Phillips was playing we'd not let in the similar number.

Were extremely light in defence, I wouldn't want us to sell any of them especially when were currently trying to convert one of our right backs to a CB.

This question shouldn't even be asked, he has been improving season after season, get him to sign that new contract quick!

He gives us an excellent option in our tactics with his direct running and overlapping of Baker. He's still young, so a bit of work on his crossing and he'd be an even more valuable asset than he is now.

Oh and I personally think £500k would only be a price to sell him at if we knew he wasn't going to extend his contract past the Summer. Although I do get the impression from various reports that Huddersfield have already got in his head about joining them next season.

If we receive a bid of 1m then we should let him go.

Depends if that £1m or at least a decent percentage of it goes back into the playing squad.

Judging SISU on past transfer dealings, I can't say I'm too enthused the above will happen.

Seeing £1m go straight back into the black hole of our wonderful finances and losing Christie would be disadvantageous in my opinion.

I'm giving Callum Wilson three games without a goal and I'm writing him off as a spent force.

If he won't sign a new contract and we get a decent offer, I'd be tempted to sell him I jan.

Spot on.

My favourite example is someone saying we should drop Moussa for a youth player we've never heard of. Next game was the one where Moussa scored that delightful chip.

Nature of the beast of the internet. Finding out how reactionary and knee jerk football fans actually are.

Before the Internet and I heard this kind of nonsense in the pub, I just presumed everyone had had one shandy too many, unless of corse people are going on the Internet and posting hyperbole after a few alcoholic beverages?

This all comes down to whether the lad wants to stay or go. Personally I think he wants to go. I can still seeing that being Huddersfield.

We need to keep all our players as our squad isn't big is it ?
But all us football fans are fickle sober or pissed,so our opinions may change like the weather,so if Christie wants to go let him leave!

Keep if we can, if he wants to leave then get the best price possible.

A thought though, when Cyrus plays he is an integral part of our attacking play, since he has returned we have leaked goals, could it be that asking him to bomb forward so much is contributing to our wobbles at the back?

We haven't looked the same team since he came back. More than likely just coincidence though.

Me personally I'd sell, just for the reason we have players that are coming up to his standard an will do a good job. Re invest in x2 central defenders to help give options in defence, to much of a risk to let his contract run down an get a small fee because of his age.

I would have thought he would want to improve himself by going, with the best will in the world I can't see Huddersfield pulling any trees up.

Not quite the same is it. Cyrus has been seriously poor since his injury, has had offers in for him, his contract's up in 6 months, and has refused to sign a contract while all his peers are. All signs point to "head turned" and as such whether we should get rid is a sensible question.

Well he hasn't signed a contract extension, so I guess that tells you where he & his agent is at.. as he is still young the club will get a tribunal set fee for him.
