It was a horrible day for the riders, never seen that many stop the race due to the conditions, I bet the bearings went on a good few bikes afterwards with water damage! We were by Bettys tea shop initially but needed a slash and a warm drink of errr beer then we lost our spot, we ended up near the hill climbing up towards the pub. Tough day but great atmosphere
