I haven't looked at results elsewhere after Bury, but am wondering how many successive wins we now have to put together simply to catch the team 5th from bottom assuming that they pick up one point per game until the end of the season (they'll pick up a bit more of course)
I can't be bothered. It's too depressing.I fear we would run out of games.

Well Alan if the team in 20th pick up points at this rate they will end up with 51. We have less than half that.

We'd have to get 26 points from 12 games - for sure a tipping point has been reached tonight. We would need 8 wins x 3 = 24 plus a couple of draws, and it isn't even guaranteed to keep us up. We've won 1 in 18 - it ain't happening.

Wouldn't shock me if TF bins off Slade after this.

We're down unfortunately - Cue another round of player sales and cost cutting as we slide inexorably out of the league.

Correct Otis. Mind you didn't you say we would beat bury in your pre match prediction :banghead:

Only joking mate but seriously we won't win another game this season imho. We deserve to be relegated

I do think we will. It will be just the odd win here and there to prolong the agony.

Be better to have us shot and put down now and have the management team try to look forwards to next season.

When is the earliest we could be relegated. If we lost the next 3 could that be it if other results go against us ?

I've got a sneaky feeling we are slightly at risk of going down. Don't want to jump the gun, but it's looking dodgy.

What's the least points a team has been relegated with as I can't see this shower ever winning again this season?

Two games ago we could afford just 2 more defeats. Well we just had them. So now we need to win or draw every remaining game, and we need to win most of them.
It isn't going to happen. We are in L2 next season.
There couldn't be a bigger shambles than this team and club.

You know the saddest part. It's not that we are 14 points from safety, it's that we are 11 points adrift from 4th from bottom.

The question is not whether we will be relegated this year, but whether we will be relegated again next year. Desperate times.

Especially with our budget and some of our squad, most of the teams in this league are dire, and yet we're rank bottom?!? Something is badly wrong.

I've just cheered myself up in the knowledge that we need 24 points from the next 8 games just to catch the team 5th from bottom. Eight successive wins. Hahaha.

|We have some embarrassments over the years on a single day ie Sutton
yet this is the worst ever embarrassing team, yet over a prolonged period and will be on going

We are embarrassingly shit

Surely 5 wins would take us to 40 points, so 5 in a row?

..the teams just outside the relegation zone will pick up at least 5-7 points in that time. Add that in its over 20 points to get. .

This sounded like better news until you remember it has taken us 7 months to put together 5 wins
