And 7 points from safety.

Donny drawing at Millwall, 1-1 ....ok, they were! Phew!

Can't keep on relying on other teams.

On a brighter note I had the Doncaster game as a 1-1 draw in the prediction league.

I hope Bristol don't win or we are a long long way from safety.

EDIT: Damn Doncaster leak goals. But at least they sink below us again.

Millwall are winning 2-1 so I fail to see the bright side

We are a long way from safety.

Interesting views on our league position.

If we were 7 points off top we would be saying we could win the league
If we were 7 points off the playoffs we would be saying we could make them
If we are 7 point off 4th from bottom we are relegated

Just an observation. I know our team is shit out of luck but an interesting view me thinks.

And how many times did we make them when ever we came close? Also as we would be near the play offs I would assume we were playing ok making fans believe we could close the gap.
Where do you see us closing the gap considering some of the bottom clubs around us are now finding form.

People have learned from there mistakes,

It's not just the fact of it being 7 points. It's more to do with 7 points being over 50% of what we've accumulated over the whole season.

The stark difference is that 7 points from the top and you're in better form so feeling more buoyant about your chances. 7 points from safety and no obvious signs of where the next point is coming from.

Forest and Ipswich are being hammered tonight, not much good for their goal difference.

Shame.

Not thank fuck. We needed a Donny win today. No good finishing second bottom we need to catch up to those outside the drop zone.

We are in our own mini league with Donny to see who finishes bottom as we won't catch up with the others.

So in my mind we are top of the league on goal difference The good times are returning people.

When you are accustomed to winning and feel optimistic 7pts loks easy, when you can hardly win it looks like a mountain to climb.

Exactly. After a nice early night and missing all the results, I was expecting to awake and find us bottom. But our situation probably got worse whilst we stayed 23rd. I suppose it depends what your target is: finishing avoiding the wooden spoon at all costs, or staying up!

Totally agree. We needed a Doncaster win or a draw. We need to keep as many teams as possible as close to the bottom as possible and within reaching distance. Even though we would have been bottom it would have kept Millwall that bit closer.

Am I missing something? We can't be bottom of the league for another two seasons, although if SISU are still with us then I would not bet against it happening
