Have been looking at the current form of the teams near us. Must be bored So, we are10 games into the season. Last 5 results are as follows

Bristol City 6 points, 1 point from last 5 games
Millwall 7 points, 1 point from last 5 games
CCFC 7 points, 5 points from last 5 games
Forest 8 points, 3 points from last 5 games
Doncaster 8 points, 7 points from last 5 (3) games
Brum 8 points, 5 points from last 5 games
Portsmouth 9 points, 3 points from last 5 games
Watford 10 points, 7 from last 5 games
Barnsley 12 points, 7 from last 5 games (3 of them yesterday )

How many fans of all these clubs are having a bad feeling about this season? Just shows we are not alone.

Doesn't matter whichever way you want to dress it up, we are in the bottom 3.

I used to get annoyed in the prem years when people would say we didnt deserve to stay up. My argument was always that the table never lies, we are where we deserve to be.

Agree.

Look at the games this season. How many times have individual errors or sloppiness at either end of the field cost us? Where is the ill luck? Letting in late goals has cost us, as has missing chances at the other end. That has nothing to do with luck. We simply have not been good enough. Playing nice football doesn't unfortunately give you points. And it's not as if even that we have been hit with injuries to any great degree. We have been having a number of players coming back after injury (Sheff, Deegan, Platt) these past few games and aren't really missing any player who would make that much of a difference (McPake? Wood? Baker? Eastwood?).

Heaven help us were we to lose Juke for any length of time.

We are where we deserve to be. Don't see the picture changing any time soon either. Still will be playing kids, still having an inexperienced manager at the helm, still no money, still be wondering where the goals are going to come from.

If CCFC were a novel we would be Bleak House. It is looking very much like a long slow painful death of a season unfortunately.

Forest will be fine as soon as they get rid of Steve Call Me a Dutchman McLaren.

They just "snatched defeat from the jaws of victory yet again" according to R5 (1-3). Huh, sounds like us most weeks. Lose to them and we are truly in the brown stuff.
