This just gives me more confidence that the football side of things is in the right hands ....... TM & MV

The longer the likes of the owners, TF and SW keep their distance the better in my opinion

I like to think Mowbray saw this as one of the main things to address before signing the contract, that he and his nominated staff be trusted enough to be allowed to take care of the football and most of the public side of the club.

Its clear thats what Mowbray wanted, and thank god he did. The difference between the team put out out on the pitch this season to last is miles apart, we have all seen the proof of the pudding.

Good interview but it begs the question. What are TF and SW being paid to do?

Sounds to me like they're surplus to requirements.

Yup...said this a few times about the importance of MV and how good a job he's doing. Good to see the owners getting something right.

Fisher should of been binned off ages ago for no other reason than he's an absolute PR disaster.

Fisher is supposedly concentrating on new stadium.

Waggot I guess will be the non playing side of the football club, responsible for the improved marketing this season with all the offers etc. looking to get fans back through the gates, connecting with fans and trying to engage the local community, liaising with ACL to make sure everything goes smoothly over the season and any issues are promptly addressed, possibly negotiating with them over extending the deal with them, interacting with fan groups over improving the match day experience, looking at ways to improve the ticketing system, building relationships with Coventry rugby club, communicating with club sponsors as well as looking for other sponsors to come aboard, such as advertising hoards sponsors, shirt sponsors, player sponsors, liaising with local emergency services and the stadium safety group, possibly still some dealing with player agents as well as any other corporate/executive duties I may have missed.

You could be right with Waggot and if thats what he is doing you'd have to say he seems to be making a good job of it.

Essentially it seems as if Waggot is managing the business side of the club now, and Mowbray and Venus now have complete control of the football operations which is it how it should be. When Waggot and Pressley were playing football manager last season I imagine a lot of duties got neglected.

I still don't know what Fisher is for.

Fisher will be there for as long as they keep saying there will be a new stadium it seems.

Yeah got to give massive credit to all 3 of them Mowbray, Clapham and Venus so far so good! I touched on it before that i think Clapham had a big influence in getting a few off them England boys to join Kent, Armstrong etc .. It's very early days yet but it's the most excited I've been about the city for years! People actually go to games thinking we can win ! Instead of going to games thinking what shit is pressley going to come out with next.
Long may it continue !! I think it would be good to let couple youngsters out on loan like finch he has no chance off breaking into the first team at the moment also..
