Anyone pushing for promotion Lge 1 or fighting relegation Championship would be interested.

Re Wolves avoid Doyle he has done nothing for them this season. Griffith is a good footballer and is the one I would go for.

No chance of Griffiths

If we wanted Griffiths we would have to offer Clarke+cash, rather than the other way around.
Sigurdsson has 2 goals from 17 games this season which isn't brilliant for a striker, but I don't know if Wolves play him as a winger.

I know, but the rest aren't worth having.

The last striker we got from Wolves was Eastwood.

Just saying like.

Although we didn't do too bad with the one before him....

My mistake. I just thought SISU sold everyone for peanuts.

They still will. The first offer excluded the bag.

Why are the Telegraph writing off Cassidy because he is young? I thought he was scoring for fun at Tranmere beginning of last season.

Aside from the young unknown strikers, why are the others not currently in their team? Must be a reason. Griffiths obviously is, and I would imagine it's not a case of him not fitting into Pressleys, but more so that he's out of our reach.

Don't know much about Sigurdsson, but I don't recall seeing him name on any scoresheet for many of those 50 appearances, although I did rate Gudjohnson!

Just been tweeting a Wolves fan about Clarke and he suspects we couldn't afford the wages of any of their players, which I'm inclined to agree with. Even without the embargo I doubt SP will be given too much for wages on new signings.

Fair play to the club for holding out. A player + cash would be good.

Not if any of the players mentioned (assuming naturally we will be looking to replace a striker with a striker) are to be taken seriously. There's either inexperience or high wage earners in that list, so cash only and look elsewhere IMO.

Personally the only viable option for a striker swap I see is Cassidy
