His awareness and ability to read the game and his team mates was the best ever. He either had eye's in the back of his head or was telepathic. He always seemed to know where to put the ball knowing who was running on to it before the player knew they was running on to it themselves. He made things happen. Brilliant player. Sad loss.

Fantastic player way ahead of his time on and off the field. Even forced Adidas to give him a kit with only 2 stripes with the rest of the Dutch team having three

Just came on the site and saw Cruyff's name and then read this sad news.Not much more to say that's not already been said but what a fantastic player and one of the all time greats.
