Yes he is as he won't have a bad word said about the place even though MR himself said the pitch was shit and we weren't made to feel welcome before.

It's much better now so peoples opinions have changed. Funny that.

Who mentioned the pitch? Yes the pitch was shit. Concourses badly laid out.
However you’re correct in assuming that I like the ground overall.

That's fine.

Just like it's fine for someone to say it was soulless before (because it often was) but has a good atmosphere at the moment.

45, 15 and 16 sold out now with only 3 in 17

Work should just let me go before a game, I don't get anything done

Problem is the hypothesis has always been put as its soulless because it’s the Ricoh, and nothing to do with what’s happening on the pitch. Which this season seems to have well and truly falsified.

Yeah it has been falsified this season.

I'm taking umbrage at the suggestion that it was clear all along when I don't think it was.

At least we now know if the atmosphere goes back to the soulless nothing that was so often the case in years past we only have ourselves to blame.

That's true.
And beyond sheer nostalgia, HR was not always the cauldron of noise that some think.

Still, give me HR, Fratton park, Goodison Park over The CBS, The King Power, The SoL any day.

I think the article says what it means biggest home crowd of the season

NEWS: Biggest home crowd of the season expected tonight - get there early, with additional catering available

Ahead of tonight’s game against Peterborough United, Coventry City are urging fans to get their tickets for the game and to arrive early at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

I'd be really happy with that.

Now the challenge is to not do what we normally do in front of a big crowd and fall apart. Play the same as we have been and put them to the sword so we can try and convince this lot it's worth coming back.

Il be honest though , looking at the seating and with potential walk up , I reckon there's every chance we could hit 21000 all in .. they are still selling well now
