Thoughts?

I would expect it to be terrible, I can't think of a Coventry game I've ever wanted to go to less.

Doncaster have sold 770, so likely 1k-1.2k.

So is unlikely to be lower than Crawley.

9984 for me.

I admire your optimism but I can't see it.

Just posted on another thread that the crowd for tomorrow will be 5365 and that a 1000 of those will be from Donny.

Hopefully people will rally around and come to support Sky Blues. Although apathy tends to be a more typical Coventry trait than community spirit

Good Friday traditionally is not exactly a public holiday in Coventry . Also late switch for some reason that we dont really know what the TRUE reason was, will NOT help.

It is spring and the not quite as cold as it has been so who knows and after all Doncaster are top.

All that considered, I would be very surprised if the attendence isnt between 15 and 17 000 .

You're wrong. It will get much worse than this with Sisu still in charge.

Tommo,

Yes I was, the old chestnut trick. between 15 and 17000 that means more than 15,16,17,18,19,20 ...100 101 ....999 1000 2000 3000 4000 ..... 17000 etc

I would say 9K to 10K.

I would live to know why the REAL reason the game was switched to Friday.

I think we wanted the fixture switched to Friday because every other game was on Friday, and also the Monday fixture is now an early kick off to accommodate Sky coverage.

Don't you want to know why initially our game was the only fixture scheduled for Saturday whilst everyone else is playing on Friday? There isn't a sinister motive behind every decision you know

Yes I know that an d the reason given, bit what was the real reason for the shift two weeks before the game? Anything connected to Walsall/Nene Park/Venus logistics perhaps?

Sometime everyone else plays on Saturday and one team plays on Sunday. With SISU involved who knows what the truth is.

Sorry I'm a hardline conspiracy theorist and NOT convinced by what has been put out in media.

I am fairly sure we wanted the game moved back to Friday so that our players would have the same amount of recovery time ahead of the game on Monday vs Swindon. What is sinister about that?

You have to understand that everything our owners do has to be viewed as sinister just going by their track record.

Really not that bothered about going.

But it's either that or spend time with the mother in law so I'm leaving extra early in order to make the most of my excuse to get away!

One of your guys was on here the day we went into administration slagging us off for moving the match. Wish I'd known this then.

Because they had weeks and weeks and weeks to sort this out and change it, instead of suddenly realising with just 2 weeks to go that playing on the Saturday might effect the players for the Monday game.

If it's not sinister then you have to say it's pretty incompetent.

Have to smile at these dire predictions, particularly the one that said it will be 6000.

The predicted crowd today (well what has been advised to police and casino operator etc.) is 11K-12K. So slightly above average then. Remains to be seen, but it is a bank holiday and it is kids for a quid.

As for the 'sinister' decision to move the fixture, oh please. It was inconsiderate and late, but totally understandable.

With the club on its knees you'd think there would be 30,000 'diehards,' showing they cared about their club. It's a lot to ask isn't it? Supporting your team. Get off your arses and stop making excuses.

Bank Holiday? Not for an awful lot of Coventry folk, Ferret. Lots have Monday and Tuesday off and today will be a working day.
