Tell me this makes sense. England get 134 runs with 8 wickets lost, SA get 135 runs with 7 wickets lost. In my opinion, SA should win by ONE wicket since we lost one more than them. Instead, nonsensically, they win by THREE wickets. And don't get me started on Tennis scoring ...

Cricket is the most confusing sport in the world (after American rugby!)

Rugby scoring makes little sense. You don't get 1 point for anything; 3 for a penalty and 5 for a try and 2 for conversion. Why?

Cricket's a great game. Don't understand why they play this rubbish type where all the players wear pyjamas though. I only watch that if there's no proper cricket to watch.

Watched it live at the world cup a few years ago. Good day in the sun with your mates but it doesn't quite seem right.

American "football" is the most boring inane ridiculous game ever devised - four hours (should be one hour) of sheer purgatory stereotyped nonsense

Cannot disagree enough, Jonnie. I find it the most exciting sport of all sports and a fantastic game.

Most games are usually 3 hours actually and not 4.

I like American Football much more than football as a spectator sport. I really love it and so many games go right down to the wire and are won in the last 2 mins or so, so I would personally say it is anything but boring.

Each and every to their own though.

Yep, agree. Basketball is too repetitive and too predictable and as a result a little boring.

I love watching the Basketball, it's non stop action, and a bit like cricket moment can swing between teams in matches.

Too easy to score for my liking. I can watch but only for about 5 mins. I don't like games where you are cheering every sixty seconds or so. It dilutes it for me.

I like games where to score is a much bigger achievement. Such as a goal in football, a try in rugby, a touchdown in American Football, or a six in cricket.

Just not keen on constant 'goals' going in, in any sport.

I been to see the blaze once. Its was packed at the sky dome.
Got in just in time, but no seats so stood on the side, next to the sin bin.

The person looking after the sin bin & the pucks, must have heard all the questions my lad was asking, plus my daughter complaining it was cold. At the end of the game he gave my lad a puck, he still treasures it now.

We never managed another game, one thing that put me off was taking almost 2 HOURS to get out of the car park, It took me an hour and a half to get out of the parking space.

Watched the Edmonton Oilers in the nhl about 5 years ago and I was so glad that the gAme finished it was really boring, got my daughter a game jersey and it still looks brand new today they are unbelievable quality even at about £60 for a kids one.

but I did go to a Seattle thunderbirds game about 20 years ago they are below the nhl and it is the best atmosphere I have ever been in I would guess about 10k there but indoors the noise is amazing but so surprise as all the Seattle fans are noising especially the Seahawks fans.

They had a puck with lights in it at one time to try and make it easier to pickup. Got scrapped as people didn't like it. Its a sport that benefits greatly from being in HD.

Cricket: As explained to a foreigner...

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out. When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay all out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out.
When both sides have been in and all the men are out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!
