As a prelude, here's an interesting article about the early days of women's cricket.

England make a decent if unspectacular total on a difficult wicket. 228 for 7.
India struggling to keep up with the needed run rate.
England's bowlers restricting them to mostly singles.
Boundaries are proving difficult to come by but India have 8 wickets left.

The current pairing of Raut and Kaur are proving a thorn in England's side.
They have hit three sixes and a four in the last few overs and are starting to increase their scoring rate. Now 106 for 2.
This could spell danger for England.
They desperately need to break up this pair.

I'd have to say India are going to win now.
68 runs needed with 79 balls left.
Plenty wickets to play with.

The missed stumping, although a difficult chance, and that dropped catch could prove costly.

India now cruising home.
England's only chance is one or two quick wickets.

And just as I posted that, Raut is out. This could be huge!
But India still must be favourites at this point.

Verma out for a duck. Things are looking up.

Always going to be difficult to defend that total. Still need a miracle but come on girls!

India need a couple of boundaries. England need a couple of wickets or a couple of maiden overs.

Krishnamurthy out. That's the wicket England needed.
Now it's going to get very tense!

Going to be close. India will have to start swinging so hopefully we can expose that

Or maybe not tense. India wickets falling like dominoes!

It's still India's to lose though.

Don't agree with the call from the third umpire. Foot was off the ground for me.

India just need singles but a boundary would sure ease the pressure.

Pandey out, but Sharma is the danger person.

What a great final. When Gunn dropped that dolly I thought we'd blown it.

Fantastic performance from England. India were cruising but they kept the pressure on.

Incredible win by England. The bowlers did their job at the end.
India were in such a strong position. They just took a few too many risks.
They'll be kicking themselves.

Just re-watched Shrubsole's dismissal of Raut (icc-cricket.com). I could not believe the swing on that ball.
