Appreciate it's early and we put them in but this is one of the most discplined bowling efforts for a very long time. India really having to fight for the runs

Be interesting to see if Pant is going to keep wicket this time or say his finger hurts.

shouldn't allow a sub if he doesn't take the field. Different carrying an injury into the game.

The excitement of next seasons international fixtures being released didn't last long.

For the men its a Tuesday D/N ODI against India and a September test against Pakistan Incredibly as that's not late enough in the year there's a Sri Lanka tour to England after the series against Pakistan finishes.

Nothing for the Women who seem to have been dropped back down to smaller venues.

Of the 7 tests next summer 4 are in London, thats crazy. One each for Birmingham, Leeds and Nottingham.

Also no 5 match test series at all.

If Pant comes out to bat then he is fit enough to keep.

This game is shaping up nicely. Just need England to not collapse when its our turn to bat

Meanwhile at Edgbaston the less said the better

Bears are all over the place they need a batsman for next season and what have they signed two bowlers so far and linked with Bashir. This has to be the last year of Davies’s crazy captaincy and I would be begging Trott to come and take over. I’ve seen members saying that Davies is holding Barnard back as he knows he is his replacement.

India announce Pant won’t keep wicket but will bat as required this is pathetic

fine. he can field at first slip. shouldn't be allowed a sub fielder. Gill moaning about "shithousery" and they do this. If he's hurt he should be batting at 11 anyway

England bowled well, albeit in decent conditions today from what I saw, unlucky not to get India out sooner. Batting going to be tricky if India can be as accurate

That's better from Crawley. he had a look before opening up. That's his problem - only faced more than 50 balls 4 times in last 25 innings.(12 of those he didn't even make it to 20 balls faced). Bazball at its most effective has to be when certain batsmen give themselves a chance to weigh pitches/conditions etc before accelerating.

Got ourselves in a great position here. When the wickets started tumbling earlier was a bit worried we'd come in and make a hash of it but they seem to have realised in the last couple of games that sometimes you have to play grown up cricket.

Not one of my most accurate predictions ! Pretty sloppy from India’s attack from some of what I saw. Pleased for Crawley but needs a run of scores now

If ever there was a setup for the perfect Bazball innings this has to be it. Root & Pope take it to around 300 or so then they release Brook, Stokes & Smith to build a monster. Or they bat silly and are 6 down before lunch

probably the perfect session. 100 plus runs, no wickets. Really continuing the base to build a big lead.

Wonder how many times England have reached 350 for 4 or less wickets with nobody making a century?

Root up to third on the all time list, will over take Ponting soon, possibly in this game. That will leave him about 1,500 to overtake Tendulkar, not showing any signs of slowing down at the moment.

Root up to 2. Another ton. Another nice rebuild after a couple of wickets (Brook gifted his unnecessarily)

Insane that Bears are going to win after that shambolic batting display in the first innings.

Stokes off retired hurt, fingers crossed nothing more serious than cramp.

Astonishing win for the Bears after being 149 behind after the 1st innings. Worcester fans on the BBC website were cock a hoop after the second day.... just so wrongly premature

I watched the end of the bears on the stream while watching the England game, Davies can learn a lot from Webster about building an innings.

Glad I stuck-on from day 1 for the warwickshire match. I didn't see much of a chance after the first innings deficit, but got nothing else worthwhile to stream during the work day. Kept raising my eyebrows as the hours clipped over today, and a comfortable finish toward the end. Good entertainment over the 4 days altogether.
