I was going to say are the Phoenix going to win one .They were 140+ for 2 and they lose Ali and Ducket ln the same over .They should still set a good total 150 up with 15 balls to go.

Yep, I'll be there. Just had the email from Edgbaston to say they've closed the car park 'due to unforeseen circumstances'. They really don't make it easy to attend games there these days

See that Blast finals day has been shunted to the middle of September next year, sandwiched between a couple of international games so zero chance of those players featuring

Just got my Lancs renewal through, prices frozen this year. Means the most expensive "Prime" membership is £225 which makes that look even more ludicrous.

I didn’t renew and looking at the date for blast finals day looks like those games are getting dumped into September. Not quite so much fun sitting in the freezing cold

I like Roach as a player, but glad he didn't pick up that hat trick, well bowled though in that over after lunch

I heard they weren't sure if he was going to be fit, and were going to call up his dad as a Last Resort

Ahmed will take a lot of wickets in his career and he is lucky to have Rashid to watch and work with.

I don’t think Hain will Brook will come back in before. Malan will make a score soon and that will buy him more time.

How bad are conditions/pitch when you're set 170 odd to win in 60 overs (via declaration) and you're 23 for 4?

Also forgot to mention Flintoff when they showed him at the other match, really good to see him out and about and smiling. I'd read that his injuries were bad but it looks like he's had his nose rebuilt or a skint graft, and his mouth and chin still don't look great.

Very.
That dropped catch just at the end, then a 6 to seal the win, not what I expected at all for today

Burgess suddenly worked out that he had to have a bit of a go and the boundaries started to flow. Warwickshire badly need somebody who the others can bat around.

And the spirited support of H-D in partnership, he didn't look uncomfortable in on strike during the occasional singles being taken

The Times are reporting on discussions taking place at the ECB are they are mental
There have already been discussions between some counties and their local football or rugby club that could lead to counties playing under different names in an attempt to harness other local sports fans. For example, Sussex could play as Brighton & Hove Albion or Durham as Newcastle United.

And a couple from the nobody could have possibly predicted this section
One area up for discussion will be whether it is sensible to continue having two short-form competitions: the T20 Blast and the Hundred. Some counties have noticed a negative knock-on impact on their Blast ticket sales because it has been squeezed into a shorter time period, meaning more games being played on the traditionally difficult to sell evenings of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

there is a belief, under the new ECB administration, that the domestic schedule as it exists does not work and the Hundred is having an enormous impact on the other domestic competitions.
