England did not get enough practice before world Cup started and had no warm up games in India or close by countries like Australia & New Zealand did. The last warm up games against Ireland did not include any of world cup squad. Then when it starts they still pick teams as though they are playing in English conditions. It's like those in charge forget what has happened before and return to their "we know best" attitudes resulting in disappointment for all English fans.

It's absolute madness. We're struggling in an international tournament in a format the players haven't been playing and when this group of players need to be replaced our current options will be players who have only played 50 over cricket if they were deemed not good enough for The Hundred.

But apparently the answer is to keep a format nobody else plays and get rid of the blast.

Wonderful player but he’s already made his view on domestic cricket clear when he was swanning around with Piers Morgan on the day Yorks needed a win

Maxwell with 106 off 44. Got the fastest century in WC history off 40.

That’s a hammering, they’ll still not lay a glove on the Indians though

This is terrible. They’re batting like it’s a t20 when it’s clear someone needs to get their head down and build an innings.

Just throwing wickets away.

No the wonderful Eoin Morgan said you don’t need players like that when Sam Hain did it against Ireland.

I thought about that when I made that post. Came in, had a brilliant debut but not enough for this obsession with everything going at breakneck speed.

If Hain played for Surrey he would be in the England squad already the fact they pick Curran proves that

Their going to have to go some today Australia have set them 389 and that with losing 4 wicket for 1 run at the end.Strange innings put the 200 up in the 24 over and then lost the last 9 wickets for 188.

Great end to the Aus v NZ game here. First time I've bothered to actually sit down and watch some of this tournament.

Woakes can't bowl overseas

Nice to see England have finally decided to show up but fear even if they win every game they have left it will be too late
