Spectacularly uninformed and missing the whole point of non attendance at sixfields! From brighton, but not a bright one.

Fine but don't cry the poor tale when your lack of income causes the death of your club, which it will if you continue your boycotts. Maybe not this year but just do the maths. 2,000 at £20 is £40,000 every two weeks. You can't live off that. So what if you couldn't all get in at least 6,500 every week will create an atmosphere and generate you 3x as much income.

Your loss pal not mine

Seems odd that all these rival fans are posting on here arguing more fans should attend home games.

Would you bother?

The Brighton example has been used by a number on here anyway so it probably doesn't hurt to explain the differences

No just shows that we Coventry fans won't be pushed around.

You need unity in a fan base that is what we have. that is why we have 6500 going to MK next week to show our owners it is our club.

You on the other hand would take any shit they give you well done...

You lot need to get off your high horses and get backing your team in person, sixfields or not, all staying away is going to do is affect your turnover which affects your salary cap and means you have to sell your best players to stay under the salary cap.

60% of this year's turnover, not last year or an average of the last three years, it's the current year's turnover. Potential penalty is a points deduction and you knwo what that is like, or even worse a second administration. Our second one was less debt that the first but potentially more devastating because no-one wants to know from the business community when you shaft them twice. Took us 10 years to recover.

So the answer is swallow your pride, you won't get SISU out by boycotting matches, all you will do is push your beloved club closer to the brink, get down to Northampton in massive numbers and make your voices heard in the ground. Owt else is pointless.

I believe club owners are allowed to put money in as equity which is then included in FFP calculations. Our owners have said it doesn't matter if we don't turn up they have the money to cover the loss of ticket income.

Look at the numbers who travelled to Wolves and who are going to MK Dons and you will clearly see it's not a case of people not being bothered to go its people actively boycotting as it is the only real way we can let our owners know what we think of what they have done to our club.

You really don't believe that do you.. business people volunteering to lose money, LOL. They're mortified that their projections are grossly wide of the mark.

They believed they would at least break even if Fisher was to be believed.

When have you ever heard me talk? Do I know you?

Also surely if Timmy Dimmy was to sign in on here he would present himself as a rival club supporter urging supporters behind the team.

Or am I being a tad too sophisticated for Dave from Longford?

I made the rash assumption that the words you vocalise would match the words you type here. Making any other conclusion would mean you are just a puerile WUM.....surely not !!!

As for your last question you would have to as Dave from Longford.

Don't believe anything Fisher says to be honest but with this he's really backed himself into a corner. People were openly laughing at him at the forum yet they continued to claim they could cover any losses caused by the move. If they then turn round and use lower revenues as an excuse for anything surely even the most pro SISU members of our fan base will be questioning their leadership.

Just seen the goals. How poor were they all!

Fleck backing out of a challenge on the half way line lead to Tranmeres first, Webster falling on his arse and Tranmere getting their Second after A disasterous heavy ball launched toward Barton (I think it was) by Baker gifting Tranmere possession. Poor defending for the third, Murphy shouldn't get lobbed from there. Murphy's terrible clearance for the forth was embarrassing, and again shouldn't get lobbed from that far out, and the fifth was again poor defending.

Bakers pen was also a poor one; keeper should have done better.

And I bet Moussa had a pounding headache this morning!

Think it was about 10 games ago I suggested that whilst welcoming our form...the true test would come when, with our less than convincing defending, we took an inevitable spanking...how we respond next week will define our season (assuming we keep the squad together/strengthen a couple of areas).
Fact is we have been found out a bit...plus that was a bad day at the office for a few of our lads looking at their goals...but I'm still more than impressed overall - & if SP can rally them I think next weekend we'll bounce back & it could be carnival time!

How many people are going to come out with the "You must be Tim Fisher because I don't agree with you" act?

What is really strange is that all of the childness isn't really coming from the teenagers on the site, it is mostly people 45 or over.

I really wouldn't pull at that thread Nick.

The "childness" is coming equally from the moderator, and the rest of the little cabal of mutual likers, kind of sets the tone. In fact, in most threads, it's the "Oh my god I bet someone will make this about Sixfields" lot that make the first OT post.
