Bradford I wouldn't blame him too much for

What about all the big saves he makes? The one on ones. The one with his legs late on Saturday. Saves us more pts than loses them

Can't blame for the Bradford goal, right in thr bottom corner player under no pressure. Thr angle of the Swindon isn't great, its hard to tell how unsighted he was, so the fact he got his hand to it makes it look like his fault. Where an angle from behind the goal could show it was exceptional that he actually got there.

The Bradford goal is a great height for him.

Also thought he could have done better with the goal on Saturday too.

Ok if you work on your theory...
He cost us 3pts v Swindon... Score 1-0 3pts lossed. And it was already a loss v Bradford from 2 pens score 3-1, so he's cost us 3 pts in reality this season. Agree?
Now look at what he's saved us...
Saves with a outstretched leg at near post at the end of the game v Northampton score 1-1 2pts saved.
The save near the end of the bury game where he stood up instead of going to ground bringing the bury player down score 0-0 3pts saved
He's 2pts to the good in my book.

Can't find anything on the offal, as usual, but does anyone know if it's pay on the gate for this game?
Thanks in advance.

RCC has hands made of flypaper, when he comes for a cross I expect him to take it. Burge has hands made of actual paper, cant hold the ball, has no command of his area. If it's one guy with a vendetta, particularly about a home grown player, you can guarantee its a relative or something.

LOL
Shot from 6 yards out into the bottom corner, even if he could reach it he would have been obstructed by the city defender who was on the line anyway.

Ha ha, you are a joke mate. Your more of a clown than that fella on here who reckons bigi should win the ballon d'or

Possibly because he's by far the better option we have. In that situation Burge would have probably tripped over his own feet and injured our defender when letting the goal in. RCC is not above criticism but when we have no other option then I see it as pointless, particularly when he's young and could develop into a very good goalkeeper.

How is he by far better? RCC has cost us far more goals than what Burge ever did.

This is laughable, Burge can't even catch a fucking ball. I'm sorry mate but if you rate him better and have no personal relationship then you have absolutely no idea what you're on about.

Might not be able to catch a ball but at least he doesn't let in a dozen soft goals a season

You've no substance to your claims.... We're 2 points better off thanks to RCC.
Proved it on your claims alone

Burge would struggle to make a dozen saves if he played for the whole season

I haven't considered Burge a professional goalkeeper ever since I watched him against Nuneaton in a friendly - incidentally I gave him the benefit of the doubt until that freekick against Peterborough.

He's woeful, watch the Millwall game last season, he saved the Pen but it was him who needlessly gave the penalty away!

RCC is eccentric and has the air of someone who doesn't quite know what he's gonna do next, but he's a far better Goalkeeper than Burge

Hadji has taken on the mantle of SBT pantomime villain.

Either that or he's on a diet of raw meat and Tippex fumes.

I'm sure we'd all get behind Lee Burge if/when he plays but for him to see him as better than RCC is crazy and to label RCC as letting soft goals in costing us points don't tally up..

I don't think it really matters in the grand scheme of things, we got spanked by Norwich's reserves.

Anyone else slightly worried what a premier league team's reserves can do? They might as well play me in goal - I feel we'll get the same result

With you 100% Stu. Won't be going to a game in this competition until all the U23 teams are out. Only exception is if a L1/2 team play an U23 team in the final. I'll stand with them in my colours, hope others do the same to fill that end and hope that there's hardly anyone in the other one.

And take tickets away from a supporter of the L1/2 club who actually wants to go watch their team at Wembley?

If I finally got to see city at Wembley even against a PLU23 side, I wouldn't want to be sat next to a bloke in a Fleetwood shirt and another in Northampton shirt.
