It used to belong to the club, building the Connexion was an initiative of Jimmy Hill when he was Chairman of the club, it wasn't a success but times have changed. I don't think the club are contemplating a move of training base because they've invested in Ryton but buying up that adjacent land now would probably be a sound enough move by Doug King.Surely we could buy up the Connexion land with Prem money. That's a fairly sizeable chunk of land. Could even buy some land over the road and have a little footbridge going over if you were feeling really fancy.

I tried to avoid all that and you went and ruined it, mate.WE should be ok because we'll be picking first in the PL draft
With the 1st pick of the 2024 Premier League draft, Coventry City select... Billy Baldhead, centre back out of Loughborough University...I tried to avoid all that and you went and ruined it, mate.

Which is exactly why I’m having trouble following local FC Cincinnati. No relegation, weird playoffs that make regular season not as important, draft picks. With the 1st pick of the 2024 Premier League draft, Coventry City select... Billy Baldhead, centre back out of Loughborough University...
They were annoyed when Doug said new stadium was just a stupid non starterWe 100% would need a new training ground. Ryton has had a makeover since Doug came in but is still miles off even upper Championship quality for a modern club. I’m hoping some deal with Warwick Uni would be possible.
I’d like to see us get the academy to Category One as well. But that may be more nostalgia than business sense.

Might be tricky
You’re absolutely rightThat’s OK they’ll be desperate for cash once Reform get in and ban foreign students.

You and I may agreeReally? Well it was wasn't it?

The Sky Blues Move to Ryton
It’s a highly topical subject at the moment, and we’ll ignore that particular elephant in the room. It was the early 1960s when Coventry City Football Club moved their training base ...www.ourwarwickshire.org.uk
That’s great isn’t it
I forgot about that little adventure. I wasn't in Coventry at that time.Had to sell it due to the Washington Diplomats debacle.
Until the end there is no Cov in there its all the other 3 mainly
My 8 year old daughter called out the most exciting opportunity ahead: the Sky Blues in a Premier League sticker album for the first time in her life (RIP Panini). #GotGotNeedThere isn't really a bad outcome in my mind. Its either a novelty season in the Premier League for those who haven't experienced it before or another season at the business end of the Championship.
Monzo’s marketing department…Hate shit like this. Makes us look arrogant. Whose idea was this i wonder?View attachment 43048

Said the same before the Sunderland, West Brom and Mboro games, these are the big games we turn up for , its Some place to come to now, we go up a level,Interesting to see FL reference the Norwich game as the turning point today. Talk about it always being darkest before dawn. The nature of that loss was tough to take but we showed some real fight. We had 29 points from 26 games after that game. 11 points off 6th. I think most thought "season over". If someone had told you after that game we would take 40 points from the final 20 games and finish 5th.... I really want us to go up, but even being in the play offs is a great achievement from 4 months ago. Fingers crossed we put in a convincing performance tomorrow.
Bidwell imo, looked far more like his old self v Boro and defensively just much better than JDSSame as boro, not sure about da/silva bidwell, think after his mistake against Luton da silva on the bench can’t afford to do that again ? bidwell played well,
