we need to boycott this game to stick 2 fingers up at sisu and give them the message this is what it will be like next season if they remain here.

a Saturday afternoon with a couple of thousand saints fans in the ricoh and hardly any home fans would send out the message that we have had enough of the parasites and may help speed up their departure.

the 3 home games we have on the run up to the game we should protest big time, get as many banners in there etc as poss and as many anti sisu songs as poss.

then a no show for the cup game.

get the message out to as many people as possible, don't buy any tickets for the cup game! I will ring the phone in on Friday night and say it on there and will send an email to the telegraph see if anything can be put in that aswell.

want the ground as empty as possible for this game.

LOVE CITY! HATE SISU!!

Southampton at the Ricoh? When? :thinking about:

If people can't be bothered they won't go. If they can they will, its as simple as that. One thread on a forum that about 2% of cov fans read is not going to do anything

agree, perfect opportunity to drive home just how much we have had it with sisu. We need these parasites out. I wont be giving any more of my hard earned to sisu!

I dont even think we need to call a boycott. We'll struggle to get 8k i reckon as it is!

Nice missed the FA cup draw, guess that puts away the possibility of a cup run.

Wasn't going to go anyway, wonder if it will be lower than the 8,000 we had for Palace in the cup last year.

Agreed, Brinner. My ST doesn't cover it, and drawing another Championship club in the cup is BORING, so I'm happy enough to boycott it!

just have to spread the word, tell as many fans you know and ask them to tell as many people as they know aswell!

like i said i will try and get it put out as much as poss in the local media and on as many websites as possible.

obviously wont be able to get the word round and some will turn up regardless but if the crowd is below 5k and half of them are away fans then that would certainly send a message out to the parasites.

Ideal game to boycott and make it public the national press will be on to that. Can fill the casino and surrounding boozers. Will probably get less than 10000 anyway. less than 5000 would be brill

Giving this game a miss will not be a problem!

Good call, Brinner - gives season ticket holders the chance to boycott too.

Five weeks to get as much publicity as possible.

Tell your mates, everybody - let's make it happen!

In recent years, attendances have been going down, so I cannot see the press making much of an issue out of it. Just becoming a regular thing imo

I hope people don't go soft on this idea if we win a few games over Christmas.

Count me in!!

A protest might even carry more weight if disgruntled, non- ticket purchasing fans turn up outside the ground anyway.

A couple of shandies in the casino followed by a vocal gathering at kick off time.

We could probably make more noise than the handful inside, and achieve more SISU damaging media attention than this total non-event of a game.

Well done Brinner, at least you are showing passion for the future existence of Coventry City.

As much as boycotting a game might work in showing how much SISU aren't wanted, personally I would rather go to the game and back the team.

I wasn't planning on going to this one anyway, such a boring draw - I was hoping we'd have the chance of a day out and at least have fun getting knocked out. Instead we just get to lie down for the Saints at the Ricoh, how depressing. You won't keep everyone away though although I imagine the attendance is set to be a record low even without setting up a boycott anyway!

Perfect draw for a boycott as its against a team sisu tried to get their dirty hands on and Ken Duliar was their former chairman. Love City Hate Sisu!!!

If I'm honest, with or without a boycott there will be less than 6000 anyway.
Southampton on their last visit brought 3000+ many off them won't fancy a 3hour+ trip to coventry again.
Also even with it being the Fa cup tickets will still be £15+

This is a great idea - let's go for it. Get media involved - cwr, mercia, ct, sky etc. But it needs proper coordination - too much to expect sky blue trust to help but sure kev monks would help. Need GMK and other websites involved and ideally southampton fans as well. Sure some will turn up but if you care about the long term future of your club this one gesture might just make a real difference.

I've just put a link on the Wet Lettuce - Brinner's already posted on GMK - can somebody let Kev Monks know?

I'm just off to the CWR website now.....:blue:

Count me in, dull draw at home, involves paying extra on top of my season ticket and not much chance of a win. Good chance to show SISU we don't want them here anymore

So just to clear things up - are we not going at all, or are we loudly protesting outside?

This is a great idea - to those saying it won't work don't be pathetic and lazy.

Fight for your beloved Sky Blues girls!:blue:

Count me in (or is it out?)

No recourse for the orange coated tossers either. Outside the ground its common assault and they are fair game to have a pop back at.
