Almost an equaliser through some comical defending resulting in what would have been an own goal (did it cross? Didn't it?) fortunately Lino spotted an offside before it

Yeah massive let off and definitely over the line. Initially thought the Lino had flagged for the goal. Calamitous defending, of which Burge was at the forefront once more.

Rochdale are a dirty team. Lots of niggles after the ball has gone. Leaving their foot in a lot.

They've done their homework and are just pressing the midfielders giving no space or time.

Pretty odd game. We look poor but have scored and hit the post.

Turnball on a yellow for blocking a runner after Rochdale take a quick free kick, that man wasn't even near the ball and created a dangerous chance for them. Free kick straight at Burge (delay in posting; this happened hours ago; bleeding Internet)

Agyei looks to have pulled something now. They should review that at HT and not take risks if he's injured

Coventry City
@Coventry_City
42 - CHANCE: Agyei goes close to a second as his curling effort goes just wide of the far post. 1-0. #PUSB

Agree we look second best all over the pitch but could be two up. Think agyei has done well today

Reid runs the ball out of our own box, does really well, plays a 1 2 with Bigi and gets to the box but seems to stop! If he wasn't confident on his own he had Agyei up with him. Wasted chance

Agyei is bullying the Rochdale defenders, can't handle him.

Bang average but under Mowbray we'd be at least 1-0 down.

That first 15 mins is right up there with the very worst of City performances in recent times. Luckily, for all their dominance, Rochdale didn't really threaten.

City much better after that and all the best chances going to the Sky Blues.

Still being out muscled though and losing out in the physicality stakes.

Best City player, Jordan Willis, but Reid has been great since he has come on.

Reckon we need that 2nd goal.

Yep. Pretty poor Rochdale gave dominated most of the game, but we've created the better chances on the break. We need another goal as I don't fancy our chances of keeping a cleansheet.

Both Reid and Agyei have been good. Great feet.

Much better past 5. Would've backed Agyei to score there but good strength and even better reverse pass from Lameiras

Been impressed with their Joe Bunny down the left hand side for them.

Been impressed with Rochdale's energy and spirit and endeavour. Got the feeling they may well score second half.

Rose to get some game time perhaps?

Disappointed I'm missing it, but very pleased when I checked the score.

I'll have another ale to celebrate. To be fair the Isle of Wight is full of good pubs.

Rochdale seem to have similar problems to us; poor in the final third.

Early on their midfield were winning a lot and passing it around well, but apart from routine saves (albeit ones he's almost made a hash of ) has Burge really been tested?

Agyei looks cumbersome but at least defences seem to struggle with him,

Long way to go but the Rochdale defence looks like it opens up very easily.

Sordell is wide right now and totally wasted.

Anyone else just see Wright hobble off from the warm up?

Also where's Ricketts? Hopefully just doing his but as captain the in the dressing room and not coming on?
