It really makes me wonder if Westbrooke, Fadz & Allen is actually a bomb squad or are they genuinely ‘injured’

Westbrooke we know looks to be moving on, Fadz I’m not too bothered on if we bring in a new better CB which I think we will need in this league and if Fadz isn’t playing he’s quite a high earner to sit on the bench and will probably want to play in his last few years but Allen I have real high hopes for and was looking forward to seeing him this season

Il say this, we don't look much worse than them considering they've had a full pre season and we are a few players short... Their main chance came from our own mistake.we've surrendered possession too easily at times and we are a bit sloppy but we've only trained for a few days.. . Hamer is tidy, almost a mirror image of Walsh on the ball...rangers are struggling to break down the 5 atb,I keep saying it will stifle some teams next season..

what a fucking rollercoaster it is supporting this club. Even during a meaningless friendly.
I've changed my mind about a season ticket about 2 dozen times in the last 24 hours, probably 2 or 3 during them match.
I don't want to be in Brum but I just fucking love watching this team!

About as good as you could hope for, fair play. Rocky opening 10 which you'd probably expect but after that the shape was excellent & the only time they ever got close to troubling us was from individual mistakes.

Only 1 frustration for me...

Good half football. Enjoyed that, eventhough the goal was correctly ruled offside, shows we can provide a goal threat against good opposition.

Hamer has put in a few good passes and looks comfortable on the ball, which is a good sign.

It's only preseason, so doesnt mean a whole lot but cant complain with that half.

Hey got to be impressed with that first half against a Rangers side who should be fitter and way ahead of us in matches. Hamer pinging the ball around, getting stuck in. Playing our expansive footie and we are only just back in training. Very, very good.

Pask and Drysdale done themselves no harm there. Burroughs not looking out of place either TBF.

Wonder if we’ll change shape second half, looking at the bench either we’ll go two up front and wider AMs or we’ll have a bunch of kids.

Is it wrong I really want to see Kasta?

After first ten mins we really came into it. Hamer looks tidy. Pask decent. And so glad to have O’Hare. Giles decent going forward too. Considering we haven’t kicked a ball in 100 days and Rangers start their season in a week that was a very good performance.
