Let's all sing together, our club is dead
No pride or passion, no figure head
Where is our future what hope is there for our fans
Sisu and Fisher what's left for your corrupt hands

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't last year we say we had a top 8 budget and TM said this season that it was slightly less than that this time out?

That would point to midtable.

I'm just quoting what people have said on here and Twitter.

Did anybody ever believe the top 6 budget shit? Well maybe Grendel and Nick, oh and that other idiot who thinks a stadium is being built.

Said all along (and took stick for saying it) that the fact that unlike last season no one at the club is shouting from the roof tops what a great budget we have should ring alarm bells.

Anyhow 1-0 up woohoo.

Why not mention the "idiot" who made it up it in the first place?

Well that pisses on certain peoples theory on here that we have a top 6 budget. Explains why tm never got his targets and he could see despite his best efforts that sisu wete not prepared to back him.

Tm obviously wasn't going for targets that were within his budget you clown. It's not fucking rocket science.

And he said so himself with those five central defenders. His recruitment was a joke.

interesting comment from the offal

We do not have a high budget for the league...In fact, we're probably only just mid table

Happy to correct these myths, it is important the fans know these things...

Well that puts pay once and for all to those saying our budget is in the top six.

I don't think anybody on this forum believed we have/had a top 6 budget.

I think most of us expected us to finish mid table or higher with the funds we do have. But thanks to TM & MV they recruited awfully. This is why we need a proper League 1 manager.

It was waggot said it was between 8th to 6th the season before. Then TM said it was similar to that if not slightly less.
When I was pointing out that finishing just off the play offs last season was where the budget was I was slated by people telling me only a couple of clubs had a bigger budget and TM had massively underperformed for his budget.

Not sure what statements like this are supposed to mean or ultimately how it would have changed the situation we're in.

TM's first choice players were not within our budget so he had to sign players who were. How would we have ended up with a much different team to what we have now had he not gone after his first choice players first? We've ultimately signed the team that falls within our budget and are reaping the rewards of that.

No, I think most were saying the second half of the season was a fucking disaster, and with the budget we have, there is no excuse for it. From Xmas onwards, it was pretty much relegation form.

They did quite a few people
I think Grendel, Stupot(I think)and Johnwillowmagic to name a few. They were quite adamant if I recal pointing out the only teams that could possibly have more and there wasn't 5 teams

He let players go before realising that his targets were out of reach. He dithered so much that he panicked and we ended up with crap. TM and MV knew what the budget was at the beginning of the summer and they had four months to get the recruitment right. They failed.

He should have gone for targets that were within his budget. How hard is that for you to understand. Instead, he went for championship players that are not going to take that much of a pay decrease. Do you think Scunthorpe have a massively bigger budget than us?

Barnsley have said they almost exclusively shop for lower and non league players. Those players are out there but TM didn't have the nous to find them.

Does the League let all the teams know what each teams budget is, does each team share its budget info with the other teams, or are they just guessing where the budget would be in relation to others?
